Pinnacle S 10.7 DVD plays for for 15 min plus and then image free

Unfortunately I do not know what a prosumer is (do you mean producer?) but what I would do is produce an image file rather than write direct to disc and then use nero or imgburn to burn the disc.(I prefer Imgburn and not just because it is a free open source prog).

Give it a go and get back if the problem remains.

Hi And Welcome to Fixya,

You can used Windows Media player, By opening the file. Open your Windows Media Player click on file>open>then browse for folder of Video_TS folder double click it then you find a bunch of stuff inside that folder. Click any one of the file then on your keyboard hit CTRL+A to highlight all, then click open.
All file will go and open to your Windows media player. Try to played it. About nero you can open a largest file and then played it there.

DVD won't work when I play it in the DVD player

Read the owner's manual for your DVD player. Some brands (cheaper ones) are particular on the type of DVD to use (i.e. + or - DVD..). Most will NOT play a rewriteable (DVD-RW) disc.
I had a COLBY (WalMart) and it would only read DVD+R discs...

Upon installing Dazzle, there was good audio sound but no video.

On the start up of the instant DVD recorder program, you can either use the "let the wizard guide you" or "advance mode"

1. Select source:
you should select the options:

Video standard NTSC (Because this is the default in our region)
Video composite - if you are using RCA (red, yellow and white cables)
S-video - if you are using the cable with several pins in it.

2. Select Burner
You should select the options:
Hard disc folder - if you will be saving the content in your hard drive, the format of this files are DVD such as VOB and IFO etc.
TSST - _ _ _ _ - if you will selecting your DVD drive.

(If you have selected your DVD Burner and you cannot click "next" to proceed to the Third option,
this means that your DVD drive is not able to burn a DVD)

3. Select menus
It must be NO

4. Recording
select total recording time (make sure that Dazzle is selected in the "select source" to set the total recording time, if the Dazzle is not available, try other USB ports or download the drivers in the link below)
