Hello Sir ! I had the same problem in my cell 2 days ago i took it to the nearest mobile shop and inspite of telling them to replace the mic i asked them to wash the cell. they just washed it with some chemical and mic was good afterwards.
but before doing that plz check that your call volume is on. make a call and press the volume up key. if the volume is high then please get your mic checked.
Thanks

This could be due to one of a few possible problems. Your microphone may be broken or cracked. This is not really fixable and may be due to dropping the phone. It may be due to water damage, which also is not fixable. There is a small chance that it is due to software issues. I would bring it to the nearest store location of your phone provider and see if they can tell you what the problem is. If it is something that can't be proven to be your fault, then they will probably replace the phone free of charge!

Hope this helped! Please rate my solution!

See whether
1) you have Microphone Volume settings on your phone
2) you have gunk stuck in your microphone (lint, etc., from keeping phone in pocket)
3) it's your friend's phone that's got problems. Try to replicate the problem calling other numbers.

No one can hear me talking

Hi,

Take your mobile to a service center and ask them to replace with a new mic. Since the mic clarity is low, others are experiencing low volume. Now you change and enjoy talking....

Thanks,
Mr.Maduraikaran.

When I make a call or someone phones me i can hear them but they cant hear me

It is most probable that your phones mic or mouth piece is damaged, the solution would be to replace it,
If you can find a mic or mouth piece part for your phone, you can change that by dismantling the phone and locating the mic piece(oftenly located at the housing itself, just below the keypad lines)

My LG GW520 phone's microphone's aren't working. When I speak, my friend can't hear me, but I can hear them. If I use my headphones, then it works perfectly fine. What's wrong?

Hi,

when you call someone and they don;t hear you,it means that the mouth piece which is located at the bottom of the phone and allows people to hear is faulty and will need to be replaced.

When you replace the mouth piece, people can now hear you.

Take care.

Friend can not hear us via Skype

If the mic is really been muted, do the following:
Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Voice [tab] -> In Voice Recording area press "Volume..." button -> check if "mute all" is unchecked and adjust the slider to proper position

Bad microphone reverb

Ok, i can understand that, I play Eve-Online myself.

If you are using onboard sound, depending on the manufacturer of the bits and pieces that make up the sound portion of the motherboard, will greatly effect the sound quality you get. Also, making sure the microphone is not too close or too far is a big key to it also.

I have found that running whatever chat program that I use at the time to chat with my alliance friends online with, opening an advanced window with sound controlling properties, like you would on the older stereo systems, you have to sometimes tweak the bars a little on each setting to get the right quality.

Also, by chance, if you are spending less than 25$ US standard dollars on a microphone headset unit, you are just getting what you pay for. Sasd to say, but they dont put a whole lot of effort into making good mic's for cheap. Use Playtronics, for one, but expect to spend roughly between 50 to 75 dolalrs on the headset to get a decent quality. For my gaming purposes, i spent 124.99 on mine, but thats because i occasionally use them for other software.

No sound on my calls on j600

When you make call no body can hear you because there will be mic in your handset it might be in loose contact or the mic is damaged ...

and you cannot hear them because the ear piece speaker is also in loose contact or it is damaged ...

if you are good at opening the handset then just open it and just have a check is there any miscontact in both the mic & the ear piece speaker ...

i think the mic and ear piece speaker are not touching to the circuit board so as it is not in contact you are facing this problem ..
check for the miscontact and solve it ... if they are damaged then replace with the new ones..
while purchasing the new ear piece & mic buy which is compatible to your handset model ..
if you are not good in opening then just visit the technician ...
he will do it ...
The price of the ear piece speaker & the mic are very cheap ...
if you visit the technician then he may take the service charges extra ...

any doubts reply me
i am always here to assist you
thank you
bye ..
