Hi!!! I have an hp compaq cq 40 laptop.Frm sm days a problem persists wid it.whn its running normally ,all of a sudden its screen goes black...widin 1-2 mins its automatically shut down.Whn i restart it frm d switch ,a message "RESUMING WINDOWS" shown n den d booting starts.Smtimes it starts n smtimes again gone to shutdown automatically. I m sick of dis error.Help me please if u guys have ne solution to my problem....!!!!

Check in the power options area of your operating system, and switch off hibernate and switch off sleep, this should prevent the machine powering down.

to check, take out your hard disk and put it in other laptop. if the problem persist your OS is corrupted. In that case, you need to reformat your OS in a defaulty factory settings.
