Steam Nozzle How do you get the steam nozzle to stay on and in place during the steaming operation?

I've only had it fly off once.  I think I didn't put it all the way on.  Also make sure you clean the nozzle every time you use the steamer.  Milk will clog the nozzle otherwise.  My maker is right beside the sink and I rinse the nozzle immediately after steaming milk.  I also run it through the dishwasher at least weekly.  (This isn't a substitute for immediate clearing of the nozzle.)   A clogged nozzle will always blow off the end.

Why won't steam come through the nozzle

This could be because the end of the steam wand is blocked. Use a small sharp needle or similar to open up the holes in the nozzle and try again. If not you may need to remove the steam arm and clean it through. It could also be that the valve is failing to open when you operate it. Without knowing the make model you are unlikely to get a detailed answer to your problem

Steam wand doesn't work on sunbeam cafe series coffee machine

Have you tried cleaning the steam wand nozzle with a paperclip (or the pin tool mounted in the back door of the unit?

Milk deposits can make their way inside the nozzle and block it, describing the symptoms you're getting.

When I turn on the steam valve, nor hot water nor steam comes out (not one drop), it doesn't make it to the nozzle and instead it goes directly to the drip tray. Coffees dispense works...

Hi, sounds like either you have a blocked or fauly solenoid, or micro switch or the water inlet side of the boiler is bocked. This is easy to fix. You need to be able to get to the inlet on the boiler, undo the water line and drill it out using a 3mm drill bit. Dazza

Gets no steam

If you can make coffee and the coffee is hot that means the machine works fine and the only problem you have the tube nozzle clogged. So first switch of the machine a turn the knob to off position. Remove the steam nozzle cover and with the use of a needle or steel thin wire insert it to steam pipe all the way in so to make at least a small opening. Try again to work the machine and if you have atleast some steam continue use the steam so any dirt will spit out. The dirt might be dry milk or evn some big parts of scale which have been unstuck from machine during descaling and they have not desolve so to come out from the pipe. So the next time you will make descaling try to leave the machine with descale solution more time inside the machine before rensing.
Good luck

Francis francis milk steamer not operating

Check the end/nozzle of the steam wand, if you open the wand and while getting nothing it is hot, then the nozzle is blocked use a paperclip to clear the hole at the end of tip. If you have done this already and still no steam then it is clogged where the steam valve connects to the boiler.

Nozzle won't stay on steam tube

There should be two rubber pieces inside the threaded collar & cap that help produce a pressure fit onto the wand itself. There is a total of five plastic pieces on my steam wand excluding the wand itself on my Via Venezia by Saeco I purchased a year ago. Sounds to me like you lost one of you rubber gromets! Just my thoughts!

No steam coming out of heating nozzle for Wega

Remove the nozzle on the end of the steam wand, them open valve to see if the steam wand works, if yes use a paper clip to clear holes on nozzle, if no remove steam wand where it is connected to the valve then open wand(steam will be spraying be careful). If you have steam there then clean wand and nozzle.
