Squeaky mouse button

My mouse button squeaks when I click it, and I got it 3 days ago

My brand-new HP mouse worked just fine for about two or three days, and then began squeaking when clicked. This is an optical mouse, not the kind that has a ball and has to be opened and cleaned periodically. The 'solution' provided does not state how to clean an optical HP mouse, or why an almost-brand-new mouse would need to be cleaned anyway. Please provide more information (both WHY this happened and, in detail, HOW to correct the problem, short of purchasing a new one). Thank you!

You should be careful about opening it yourself, if it's new, it should be under warranty and if you open it, you may make that warranty void.

It is sticky inside, most likely contaminated by fluid before you need to disassemble this and clean, or better buy a newer one w/c is cheaper and easier

Squeaky noise

You clean the printer by running cleaning pages. You can find "Cleaning Page" in your printers menus. As for the "squeaky noise", I have found it is the worst with "recycled" toner and toner kits. Finding the cause of the squeak is a very difficult thing to do. You will need to remove the front, back and sides of your printer and check all the nooks and crannies for the squeaky wheel. I have been able to remove the squeak by installing a manufacturer original toner. "Cleaning" the rollers usually has nothing to do with the squeak.

Why does my Royal star rear suspension squeak

Hi, Phil usually because you wash the bike a lot or ride in rainy weather it can easily be cured by spraying some WD-40 on the shock itself where you see any rust spots for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the blue links below. Dryer was squeaking and now it just clicks when you push the start button

if motor will not run. check it out! it may be seized or in need of oil on end bearings. ( each end of motor ) just get access to the motor.

OKI C700 printer making squeaky noise when printing?could it be the cartridge- changed few hours ago? Thanks

If the squeak only developed after changing the toner cartridge then I would say yes it could very well be the cartridge. Particularly if it is a generic brand.
I have found that most squeaks in printers are caused by the toner/drum cartridge

Very squeaky guessing it may be a belt! also it does not shut off automatically when the clothes are dry. I thought that was a feature of this dryer. Bought it used 2 years ago.

Brakes make squeaky noises along with other noises

There are a numer of reasons brakes will squeak or squeal. Sometimes excessive dust acculation wll cause it, yet another cause is the TYPE of material the brake shoes are made of. The harder the brake shoe material , the more tendency to squeak / squeal. My suggestion is use high quality brakes such as OE brakes. Hope this helps.
