Make sure you are connected to the internet under the system icon on the XMB click "system update" plug in the psp so that the power doesn't shut off. it will finish and reset automatically.

if you have slim psp upgrade it to firmware 3.90 m33 or 4.01 m33-2,to read your cso or iso files, go to the psp technician to help you to you to upgrade,because they use a pandoras battery to upgrade your psp,.you cant upgrade your psp without the pandoras battery..
use this its the safest way and make sure your psp is fully charged and when you do the downgrade upgrade make sure ure psp in pluged in to
