Restart your system and keep tapping the F8 Key as soon as you start the system. you should be at an advanced OS options menu, select SafeMode with VGA and proceed to logon to windows. Once in windows, right click on your desktop > properties > Settings > reduce settings to 800x600 > click OK > restart system. Now the display should be back on the monitor. Now read the manual to understand the highest supported resolution for this monitor + set the same as mentioned before on your system.

Over Range Signal

OK, you need to boot up in safe Mode, then change your screen resolution, to say 800x600, or 1024x768, this will then allow your monitor to operate, IF this doesn't work, then you will have to swap out, the Monitor and VGA card to find out which one is faulty.

DISPLAY PROBLEMS

OK have you installed the Latest "Drivers" for your Video card? This is imperitive. Also get the Monitor Driver too, from manufacturers web site. Also can you try another monitor to see if it is "Faulty" Visat don't play nice with lotsa Video cards and Monitors if it don't have the correct drivers etc.

Monitor screen goes black

try booting the computer in safemode you can do this by pressing f8 continuously when the computer is booting until a menu comes up select safemode. If this is unsuccessful then the monitor has a physical issue.
