Question about Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW 24" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
I changed my old monitor for a flat monitor, when I installed was ok, just a little bright, but then I put the cd "adjusting Screen Resolution", after the installation, I re started the pc, then was a message of out of range, Please help me
Restart your system and keep tapping the F8 Key as soon as you start the system. you should be at an advanced OS options menu, select SafeMode with VGA and proceed to logon to windows. Once in windows, right click on your desktop > properties > Settings > reduce settings to 800x600 > click OK > restart system. Now the display should be back on the monitor. Now read the manual to understand the highest supported resolution for this monitor + set the same as mentioned before on your system.
