Thank you chewy777! Wow this is neat. I will look for the window backup & recovery feature. I don't know where to look so I'll do a search I have used webbased mail for a long time which I really don't have to back up. But I like the Outlook & it is faster plus so much more room for everything and more professional. I'm running a homebased business & I need to look professional. I have very little knowledge & experience on the computer. I'm just a grandma that sat down in front of a coomputer that my son built about 8 years ago. My granddaughers 3rd computer! She at 3 was saying w/a plug in her mouth, "I got to boot it up grandma!" Wow! I knew I better learn to e-mail. I know some stuff but...ya know,,,,,,it is trial and error w/ me. I'll give this a try and let you know if it works. Thanks a bunch!

Hello,
I would try to use the windows backup and recovery feature if it's enabled. restore it to the previous day, also, for the windows system, did you create a backup disk. if so you should be able to reload any pre-existing programs to your system by running a restore from the recovery. without loosing all your personal files. also some will have an option when creating a recovery disk to make an applications recovery disk. If you haven't created these, i would check into this in the future.

Product key for microsoft office 2007 trial version

There isn't one. That's why it is a trial version. You must purchase the product key from microsoft.
Why not use a propper Office programme? OpenOffice.org It is free and works better than Microsofts as far as I am concerned as you can produce PDFs without having to purchase Adobe!
A great saving, give it a tyr.

I rebooted and now microsoft office word keeps asking for produch key . i got it used and do not have it .what # can i put in

Hmnnn, probably you had a free edition of office suite application installed on your computer which will be valid for only 60 days. If you wish to continue using all the application of office suite, you will have to purchase the full version of office suite.
-See the following link for the price comparison: http://news.office-watch.com/t/n.aspx?articleid=1360&zoneid=10 If you wish to continue using the free trial version again, you will have to install different version of office trial suite again. -For example, If you had Office 2010 Home and Student trial edition installed on the computer before and it is expired, you can uninstall it and install the Office 2010 Professional trial edition on the computer which will be valid for another 60 days.
Link: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try/
However, you also have the option of using the open office suite which is absolutely free. The open office suite provides all the features and functionality of the Microsoft application.
You can download the open office suite for free from the following link:

Hi. On my Lenovo G555 i am typing in the product key for microsoft word found on the back of my laptop however it is telling me that this is incorrect. any advice?

The product key on the back of the laptop is for the operating system.

Microsoft Word is part of Microsoft Office and you would have been supplied with a trial version only. Now you need to purchase Microsoft Office to continue using it.

The computer is only provided with a 30 day free trial version of MS Office.. So you need to buy it now..

2007 microsoft office product key

Did MS office come with the computer? If yes, then most likely your trial period has run out, and you will need to purchase the license key from MS.

Need the product key code

power point and word are part of microsoft office... you would need to purchase a product key at www.office.microsoft.com
(although there is a free power point viewer program there)

Im trying to write a letter on microsoft office but somthing poping up saying that i need to have a, organization and a product key but i have no idea what they are?

You probably have a new PC which came with 90 day trail version of MS Office.
Instead of paying money to Microsoft, download OpenOffice. It is a free open source Office suite that works just like MS Office, it even opens word documents, Powerpoint and Excel files.
Get it here :

http://www.openoffice.org/

copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I recently purchased a desk top, it allready has a free trial for microscoft office, however I cannot adequetly access it because it required a Product Key (25 chartacters) how do i obtain this

A product key is a unique combination of 25 numbers and letters. The product key is used during Microsoft software installation to "unlock" or to open the product. If you do not enter the product key when you are prompted during the installation, the product may not open until you enter the product key. The product key is typically located on an orange or yellow sticker on the back of the CD case or the DVD case.

To obtain a new product key for your Office program, contact Microsoft and speak to a customer service representative. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support (http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support)

I am presuming you have bought a new pc or laptop running vista?

Vista generally comes with a trial version of office 2007, and after 30 days you need to purchase a new key from microsoft.

If this is not the case get back to me so i can assist you further
