How much child support do i have to pay if my gross is $1000.00 per week i only see her once a year because she lives in another state

  • Anonymous May 06, 2011

It varies by the state that the child support claim is filed in (i.e. where the child resides). Please provide state and I should be able to calculate this for you

That depends on the state you or the custodial parent lives in, and where the support is calculated. The amount will be determined by the court system.

Do I stop payments to my child when he is 20yrs old

States are different. Some are at 18, 19, and 21 years of age, if they still live the other spouse. If they go to college, you pay till they get out, If they are disabled, you pay until you die. Again states are different. All I did was send a letter to the clerk of court when mine reached 21. Stopped paying on that day. Some states you have to go to court and get them emancipated. Meaning they are adults and are/ or could pay their own way.

If i work 16 hours a week how much money do i get for a 14 year oldd

Multiply hourly wage by number of hours in pay period.
The answer is your gross pay. If this is un-taxed income, you earn that much. If it is taxed, then multiply by about 0.70 to determine take home pay after taxes, although taxes vary by location.

Ex: If I work 16 hours at $9.50/hr, I make $152/week before taxes, but only take home $106.40 ($152 x 0.70) per week after the government takes its cut.

Use a calculator, hand-held or on the computer in accessories, cell phone app, or pencil and paper with simple multiplication formula Wage x Hours Worked Per Pay Period x (1.00 - Tax Rate) = Take Home Pay Per Pay Period.

I graphed Y=tan(x) on two TI-84 calculators and they're both wrong! one shows a straight diagonal graph, and the other looks similar to an ordinary tangent graph but it's wrong!

Check the angle unit. If Angle unit is set to degree and window is about (-10,10) for X and (-10,10) for Y, you get a straight line. See screen capture.

Use radians. Or if you use degrees, set Xmin about -180 and XMax about180

With radian units the graph looks as follows.

Check the calculator configuration.

Create a program that will the salary, no of hours work, the deduction, total deduction and net pay.

The easiest way to do this is to use Excel spreadsheet.
This is what you need to do.
Create a label at the top of each column as detailed.
Add a employee to each row under Name of employee
Then against each employee add the data and the formula in the relevant cell under each column.

The first column - Name of the employee
2nd column - salary rate per hour
3rd column - hours worked
4th column - gross pay (formula = salary rate X hours worked)
5th column - tax deduction
6th column - other deductions
7th column - total deductions (formula = tax deduction + other deduction)
8th column - net pay (formula = gross pay - tax - total deductions)

At the last row you can include a total for Gross salary paid, total Tax collected etc.

Once you have setup this spread sheet make a copy of it and save it as a template.
You can then copy this template for each new financial year so you do not have to create a new one each year, you only need to make minor changes for new employees, rates of pay etc.

Another way to make a salary program is to use Access Database. You need more skills to do this, but it can provide greater reporting capabilities.
