Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video

I have a Pioneer Avic Z2. it is stuck on the pioneer screen that shows when i first cut it on. i was wondering if there is a cd that i can put to restore it back to the factory condition

Remove the deck -pull off the wire harness- then plug it back in this should reset the deck

your blue wire(power antenna) is connected to your factory amp. this wire only sends out audio when the radio is on(power antenna)
disconnect this wire and hook up the blue/white instead

in your systems settings u could try n change the recording settings to automatic. so once u put the firmware in it should automatically obsorb

look up "United Radio Service" they are based out of NY AND NC and they do all pioneer repairs at the consumer level.

Ummm, its against the law for the driver of a motor vehicle to able to see the screen of a tv or dvd player while the vehicle is in motion! Dummy, watch the road!!!!!!!!

Pioneer AVIC-Z2 DVD Function


I installed my pioneer avic z2 DVD/Navi myself and I realized that the wire that connects to the parking break is just a power wire that comes on when u pull the parking break. I think, all you have to do is to connect it to any other power wire that will be constantly provides the on power while driving. I'll try it out tomorrow and let you know!
