You will have to get a firmware update. I have fixed alot of these issues. You can try to do it online through htc.com or take it to a local repair shop. If no one can assist you you can try 303.482.1288 wireless image. Make sure you dont have water damage on the phone by checking the water mark on the back of the phone there is a white sticker indicator if it is red then it has water damage. hope this helps
Hold down the two soft-keys (the ones below the screen) and while
you have them held down you poke the reset button with your stylus.
You'll then see a message on the screen saying 'press R to reset, X to
exit'. Pressing the R key on the keyboard will hard-reset the device.
It'll now take a few minutes to reboot and load all of the operator
This procedure will hard reset the HTC TyTN, Vodofone v1605 and all other HTC Hermes variants.
press thebackcover.. the battery is inside thebackcover, if it's locked, find a screw driver that match it.. i think, u'll just need to find the right spot and press it right to open the back cover. no need screwdriver,hehe..
Not sure what you need the disc for. All you need is for Active Suync to be operational on your PC. Best to download the latest version of Active Syn. Its easily found by Googling Active Sync Download.
AS will already be installed on your PC (might be an older version) - so what happens when you connect the TyTn?
