Easist way to disable he password is to, restart the Pc, as it is starting up hit F8 key repetitively until you get into the boot menu. Once in the boot menu, look for Start in Safe mode, Once you start the Pc is safe mode You should get to the log on screen, It should show 1 new user, Know as Admin- The password- If there is one will be, admin or admin doesn't work try signing in with out any password.Once logged in go to your control panel and the into User Acct and disable the Password! Hope this helps!

Hi gv2jae..

Start up your computer
1. Keep pressing "F8" as the laptop computer starts.
2. When the window "Advanced Boot Options" opens, choose "Safe Mode" with arrow key and confim by pressing the Enter key, then PC enters the Safe Mode.
3. Once you are in the Safe mode Click "Administrator" on the Windows login screen.
Take note that you have set the Administrator password before, you need to input the changed password instead of leaving "Password" field blank.
4. Then click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Select the account that is locked and change the password.
5. Restart laptop and login into the account you just created using your new password.

Bios password

You'll find everything you need here. Down load to a cd and boot the laptop from it.

You may have to look for the BIOS password reset program, but it is worth the price. Oh, wait, it's free.

If this information was helpful, please rate it high. thanks

If you contact www.toshiba.com and assuming that is where you downloaded the firmware from, the tech guys will answer your question. If you got the bios firmware upgrade from elswhere, talk to the supplier for a password.

Updated my BIOS on my Toshiba Satellite a215-s4747 Laptop, now has a BIOS password I can't work around to boot the OS.

You'll need to Reset your BIOS password. To do this, go to another PC, and visit youtube to find a guide, or ring toshiba support and have them talk you through it.

Toshiba a215-s4697 locate bios battery, becuase i can not remember my bios password so i cant do anything with my laptop

Hello,
I am not sure that the removal of the CMOS battery would erase the passord on boot. Better take it to a Toshiba Certified Service Center.
Hope it helps.

This black screen and blue sign that says enter password i don't know what to do...

It means that your laptop has a BIOS password associated with it powering on and will not go any further until the correct password is given. It will then go on to the boot up screen. IN most cases these passwords can be reset by "shorting" the teo pins on the cmos battery socket and then powering the laptop up. you then place the normal cmos battery plug back in place and reboot the laptop, there should be no more password but the BIOS will have to be reset as far as the correct time and date.
