Hello,
i would first check your drivers for your speakers you can do this by opening your "control panel" - "device manager". now first look under "sound video and game controllers" check the device drivers for your speakers (if available). update drivers by right clicking the device and choosing the "update driver software". if this is not available or dosn't work then, I would look under "system devices" - "system speakers" and repeat the update procedures above.

External speakers won't work on HP T5570e Thin Client

Try to use earphones, plug them in to phone audio connector....
try if it works..... if so, disconnect them and plug speakers.... and try again.... if doesn't work, go to audio advanced setup and check if speakers are not muted, or set up voicevolume level is too low. Play with that setup....

Also some computers can turn on or off speakers in Bios.

If problem will not be solved, try to use USB speakers

I have no sound

Check the following:
-Speakers plugged in and turned on?
-Volume turned up on the speakers?
-Double click the little speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen and make sure that none of the items listed there are muted, and that the volume sliders are turned up.
-Try playing audio in a different application, it could be a problem with the specific application you're using
-Make sure you've got the speaker plugged into the correct connector on the PC. Match the colors on the cables to the colors on the connectors on the PC. If the colors don't match, for stereo speakers, usually the green connector is speakers.
-Try plugging your speakers into another device (such as an IPod or CD player) and see if you're able to get sound.

External speakers don't work but internal speaker works fine.

Try your speakers on another system to make sure speakers are working.

Make sure volume control on PC is not set on mute.

Make sure onboard sound is enabled in BIOS

Try re-installing the sound card driver.

If all this fails and you have a spare slot on your PC just purchase a new sound card for about $10.00 or so.
