Question about Intel (RK80532PG0881M) Pentium 4, 3 GHz Processor

Im starting to think i might be having a serious problem with my PC.. what i thought was a problem with the poker software i was having im now starting to think is a PC problem... intertops poker software that ran perfectly fine for years now when i click on the software on my desktop to load it loads the lobby fine but once i try and open a table i get the error message "MPP.Poker.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."... and once i click "send the report" or "dont send the report" the client closes completely... it almost looks like the table window is actually loading somehwere but it never shows... just like a pop up window that gets blocked by a pop up... the spot on the task bar for the room is even clickable but whenever you click on it no broswer window for the table pops up... this started about 5 days ago after it had been working fine during the day and then all of a sudden hasnt stopped since... i have no idea what all the info inside of the error report means but im thinking maybe one of you might... the first couple lines say

Exception Information

Code: 0xc000005 Flags: 0x00000000
Record: 0x00000000000000 Address: 0x0000000070902dad

ofcourse this Microsoft eror isnt listed under any of the error messages on the Microsoft problem solving page... it probably hasnt been sent to them enough times to be studied... i re installed the software... cleared my cookies and cache... defragmented my files and all that and still the same thing... but after that i did get the flash version of the software that the poker site has on their website to finally work... it didnt at first it would say "no connection to the lobby can be made"... but the flash version is an extremely poor version of the normal download version and now i have problems with freezes and boots and no feature options... i rather not use it if i dont have to

when i wrote the poker site they said its a microsoft error and not theirs... makes sense since the microsoft error warning keeps popping up

anyway i just figured it was a problem just with that software but now today the same thing is happening with ANOTHER poker software i have downloaded on my pc thats worked fine for years... this browser acts differently from intertops theres no pop up browsers to open tables on this software.. everything sits inside one browser and you click on tabs to change tables.. the error i keep getting with this is "no connection" made when my computer is obviously working fine everywhere else... i am connected.. when i log off and reload the walmart connect ISP ( lol dont laugh its an extremely great bargain i pay only $7 a month for internet access and its super fast for dial up.. started off 9.95 and loyal customer made it $7 ) ... anyway after logging off and dialing back online it then finally connects but never automically logs me in like its suppose to and always did so it just sits there never opening up the lobby and the "launching" light just keeps going back and forth but never does launch the poker client... UGHHH!! whats going on with my computer anybody know what it could be??... im starting to think my now 3 year old PC might be starting to give me problems... or maybe somethings damaged like a file or something i dont know somebody help if u can... everything else works fine on my computer for now anyway

go to the wester digital website, download the appropriate data lifeguard tools for your drive and burn the program to disc. The website will give you directions to erase data by writing zeros to all sectors, thus wiping it ready or use.

My pc 2500k with 3.30 ghz and motherboard intel DH67CL but works slow

The symptom you describe is too vague, but you can try the following tune-up procedures. First, download and install and run Malwarebytes free version. This will root out any bad stuff/malware/virus. Next, download and install the excellent free utility program called CCleaner from or Run CCleaner to remove tons of junk files that may be slowing your computer. Next, if you have a regular spinning hard drive, run Defragmenter in Windows. Be patient with all of these tune-ups i've mentioned - they may take a while! Next, if your computer has less than 4GB of RAM memory consider adding more memory. Finally, give your system a serious speed boost by adding an SSD (solid state drive). These days you can buy a 240GB SSD for as little as $89 or a 120GB SSD for around $69. Use free software from the SSD maker's website to "clone" your tuned-up Windows onto the new SSD. Keep the old drive for storing data or for installing programs that you don't use often or that won't fit onto the SSD. Then prepare to be amazed at how responsive your system is.

How to fix black screen in windows 7

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". When it's finished loading up, go online and download and install the latest drivers for your video card/chip.

If that doesn't fix it you might have some viruses and malware.

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

Download, Install and Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:
When Installing choose the non-pro version.

Download, Unzip, Install and Run TDSSKiller:

Download, Install and Run Super Anti-Spyware:

If you have an outdated Anti-virus program then Download, Install and Run Avira Anti-Virus:
Make sure to select ALL of the "threat categories" when you install or configure Avira.

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

Sounds as if you should scan your computer with an anti virus and an app to find malware such as spybot search and destroy
If you go into "Safe Mode" are these icons still there? If not maybe you can uninstall these items.

My pc is very starting up very slow

Spyware Adware etc and any program you have starting with the pc can cause this issue. Also fragmentation of hd can be part of the cause as well.

I recommend downloading Ad-aware and spybot search and destroy. Make sure the Ad-aware you download is from lavasoft. Also go to my computer classic view then right click on your C:\ go to properties and run defrag software. Use the defragment now button. Analyze will tell you if the software reccomends you defragment.

Also there is a program called Startupmechanic this will tell you programs that are starting up with your pc as well as if they are good or bad. Although I haven't used it myself in a while check it out. Just do a search on either google or

You can also go to start menu then click run and type in the following: msconfig. this brings up items that boot with system you can uncheck the ones you know for sure are not need in the startup option portion of msconfig. This can be a messy way of doing it so which is why I reccomended Startup Mechanic. Let me know your results.

Former Athlon XP 2600 1919mhz, Now Athlon ...1180mhz, Excuse me??

Hi dont worry, for some reason the FSB speed has been changed in the bios,
to fix it you need to restart the pc, press del or F2 on some machines while on the black screen, a blue bios screen will appear, i think it should be under advanced or cpu settings, varys on different machines, look for one thats CPU FSB probably says 100 or 133, if it says 100 change to 133 if 133 change to 166,
once you have made the change, save and quit
and it will show the correct speed, if you change the settings above what i have suggested you will be overclocking the machine and it might not start up, and you will have to remove bios jumper on motherboard, but just change from 100-133 or 133-166 and you will be fine...

Hello Wolf, It sounds to me like the processor fan is not working correctly. When you put a load on the processor like programs, movies or games, it overheats and hangs up. Try taking a fan, and with the side removed from your case, have the fan blowing into the case, and try a movie or a game. If it does not hang up, replace the processor cooler and fan. Please let us know how it works for you, and if we can help you in any other way. Best regards, nightdiver
