Question about Arris DSR922
I have a motorolla 922. Yesterday, all is fine. Today, I cant get any digital signals or two green lights. I have tried all I can think of. Thanks, Mike
Same thing happened to me. After much research I found out that the digital descrambler was dead. I found a good used unit on e-bay, but I found out later that the repair usually averages about $120. I plan on getting the old one repaired for a spare. Contact ATS Electronics at 828-465-9968. They have a set labor rate of $98 plus parts.

When the backup battery goes dead you loose the ID number.
If you have lost your receiver ID number you will need a new main board.
Check the receiver number in the status screen. If it matches the UA number on the back sticker you are ok, if not the only solution is replacing the main board. ATSelectronics.com still had some boards when I last checked. But when they run out were all screwed.
Motorola didn't make any provisions for renewing the ID number.
That really sucks motorola ;-(
