How to get rid of ads on my screen when I go to my in box in Yayoo mail

You can either temporarily hide the ads that keep popping up on your Yahoo Mail page or block them permanently. To know how, refer to the steps below.

To temporarily hide ads (for free email accounts):
1)Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account
2)When, while viewing your list of emails or a particular email, an ad pops up, you can see a right-facing arrow between your email and the advertisement. Click on this arrow.
3)The ad will get hidden temporarily.
(Important: This blocks the ads temporarily only and as soon as you perform the actions like refreshing the Yahoo Mail page, marking a particular email as spam, replying to an email, or just clicking on any of the sections in the navigation-menu located on the left of the page, a new ad may pop up again).

To permanently remove graphical and text ads:
Yahoo Mail has recently come up with "Yahoo Ad Free Mail" service to enable you to get rid of graphical and text ads on a permanent basis when viewing your Yahoo Mail account from a computer. You need to sign up for Yahoo Ad Free Mail account before starting using this service.
(Note: Before signing up for Yahoo Ad Free Mail account, please check if the service is available in your region. Also, even after subscribing to the service, the subscribers may still get the text ads that come up on Yahoo Mail on a mobile web browser and the text ads that come up in the "Basic Mail" interface of Yahoo Mail on a computer. To know what Basic Mail is, refer to the following Yahoo webpage: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail-for-desktop/basic-mail-sln5171.html)

Turn on pop up blocker

My best advice would be to install a plugin/extension like Adblock. This not only blocks pop ups but removes ads from webpages. This can also be beneficial since certain websites may have not safe for work images in the ad photos.

Cyberlink youcam not working on my touch screen acer PC. It just randomly stopped working. Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Hi,
I'm pretty sure that you accidentally deleted the driver for your webcam. You can download a new driver by going to Acer's webpage. Here you're simply typing in the model name, and the guide will lead your through the process.Go to--> "Acer driver management".

My pc hard disk loaded with some stuff making the hard disk full I have no idea why the hard disk is becoming full. how do I remove and block them?

Hi Dannymens921, you can download a program called WinDirStat that will tell you the folder size of each folder on any attached drive. You can use this to determine which folder has used up all the space on your computer. Be wary of deleting anything in the Windows folder or Program file folder. http://windirstat.info/download.html. I did not request, "OpenDNS" services that block

to remove the OpenDNS service all you need to do is change your DNS server addresses in your Network Settings which youll find it under the Control Panel in Windows. choose your network connection and go into the Properties and find TCP/IP properties.
Open DNS uses IP addresses such as 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
if you see those in the IP settings, remove them. you can select for the configuration to set the DNS servers automatically. if your system doesnt let you view webpages when set to automatic. you can use a different set of IP addresses for DNS. i always recommend using Google's DNS servers because they are somewhat speedier and simple to remember ( 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

Recently my Logitech MX700 mouse seems to be misbehaving and I can't figure out if it's the mouse or software. There are a couple of symptoms. First: try to highlight a line or two and the highlight turns...

try another mouse. if this works ok you have a faulty mouse if it does the same thing check for viruses as some of them stuff the mouse up. mice are cheap enough.
