Buttons will not work and cant dial out

sometimes the volume keys or the camera button got stuck that cause the keypad to freeze. try to wiggle the volume and camera buttons with your finger to get them loose. if still it is not working, most probably and the most common case for Moto RAZR V3 is that its keypad flex is now defective or have worn-out already...

you can order a flex through Ebay and replace it your self ( follow this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b4_QURalD8&feature=related) or have your phone repaired at your nearest service centers.

My phone was in my pocket and it got a little wet.

There is a tiny ledge on the back of the phone (top of the battery cover), you should be able to see a silver button inside that ledge, you just push it down and pull the battery cover off. Some people with small fingers can push it in with their fingers, if you can't try using a coin or key to push the button.

Turn razr v3 phone volume down quietly

Put your finger over the speaker hole on the back. It's most likely the way you hold it.

Yes, This phone does have a speaker phone setting.

Try making sure the connection points for the sim are clean. After taking the sim out, gently but firmly blow into the area to dislodge any dust. Put the sim back in and cross your fingers.

Hi, before sending it in or taking it to a Motorola repair station, try this. Open phone turn it over so camera is facing you with finger behind and thumb of your right hand sweeze the area between camera lens and the vol up down button to reseat the ribbon connector that is located in that area between the cases. This worked for me and it is worth trying.
