On the front, 35-40 ft lbs, be sure to use a blue lock tight or lock washer. On the rear, tighten the rear axle nut snug to where the cotter pin can easily go through the axle and slots on the nut.

95 road king brake light does not work taillight works changed

I take it it does not work foot or hand control. look for your brake light switch right side of frame rail usually a goldish color or silver color. it has two plug in connectors. Unplug and put a test light to them. apply either brake. If the light comes on then you have a bad brake switch. replace it. if you have foot brake and no hand brake light then it would most likely be the brake nipple in the hand switch. but you did not say so I assume no brakes foot or hand.

Rear turn signals

if you have the old harness and the connectors are still in good condition that should be as easy as replacing each wire individually from connector to connector. remember to solder your wires one at a time matching color to color and wrap with heat shrink tape, then incase the new wires in a new plastic wire conduit to protect from road grime.

Head lamps

On the left handlebar the beam switch has an input wire and 2 outputs. The yellow output is low beam and the white is high. The wiring harness exits the switch housing and resides in a dimple on the bottom side of the handlebar. This is a very easy place to pinch a wire. Have you replaced grips or installed chrome switch housings? Yank the connectors off the headlights and try it again. If you have a broken filament that is touching the other filament it will draw way too much current, and if it doesn't kick with the lights unplugged then one or the beams is bad. One other thing that is rare: I have seen a failed dimmer switch turn on high and low beam at the same time. Temporarily install a higher amperage fuse that won't blow and look at the filaments through a welding hood to see if they are both on. Do this last.

The stock windscreen on my 08 HD Road Glide has started a whistling noise at intermediate speeds. I can push the top center of the screen slightly and it stops. What is the solution?

Theres only 2 things that can go "wrong" with a windscreen. It can vibrate loose or it can change its position. Try torquing all the fittings first. If that doesnt do it, reposition it (a litttle more upright, I'd guess)

Radio & horn 04 Road Glide

Generally these aren't on the same circuit. There is an inline fuse for the radio, it's located in the power wire for the radio. The horn shouldn't have a fuse, so I'm going to say check the button on the controls.

Drive belt

You have to drop the swingarm, the belt wraps the arm, so you have to take it loose from the frame in order to get the belt in place. I would recommend a service manual for your bike, for all the torque specs of the components you will need to remove, ie... brake caliper, shocks, swing arm pivot bolt, etc.., and for the rear wheel and belt alignment, and the belt tension. The belt tension is crucial, if it not tight enough you will wear the belt out faster or it will slip, and if it's too tight you can break the belt or spin the splines out of the front drive pulley. I know this from experience, overtightened the belt on mine earlier this summer, was fine with my wieght, but spun the pulley at a ralley with a passenger. If you need any further assistance or have any questions, feel free to ask.

FXRS CONV -INSTALL TRIPLE TREES TO MAKE A WIDE GLIDE FRONT END

As long as the triple clamp stem is the same diameter, the triples can be changed out. As far as why, you're guess is as good as mine. Mine is that some people may like the narrow or mid glide front end, and an 883 just wouldn't look right as a wide glide.

2002 FLTR Radio Problem

Sounds like you may have blown one of the radio fuses. Don't know about that radio but usually there is one fuse red wire for the key hot and one fuse for the radio memory yellow wire and one of em is blown. I don't know if there are security codes for those radios or not if both of the fuses are good. Dont know if it will be a main radio fuse just in the main fusebox or block or if there is another or other fused in the fairing.
