Just read my description, not very helpful!!! Was late at night!!

The main circuit in the washing machine has an integrated fuse on it. When the washing machine stopped working I looked at the board and saw the blown fuse. This is the one I have replaced. It still keeps blowing when power supplied to it..??

I have a Emerson LC32OEM2F, won't turn on. After replacing the fuse, it blows.

If the fuse blows up, it indicates a short circuit. There should be short circuited component/s at the main power supply regulator board [SMPS]. Check and replace the damaged component/s; or; replace this board as card basis. The second option will be the best. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Check the site in 'Mosaic' view. It will make search easy. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

How do I diagnose a recurring blown fuse in a gmc acadia 2009 50 v causes car to get stuck in park, no power windows, no lights, no temperature controls, power locks

You buy the GM factory manual and then use the wiring diagrams to track down the systems the fuse supplies power to, and one by one you go through each circuit until you find the short circuit. There is no cut and dry way that works every time to find this type of an automotive electrical problem, I have been doing auto electric for 25 years and seldom does the same repair fix more than one car or truck. You can also rent the manuals for download at this site for about $40 per year, a great deal. www.alldatadiy.com

Arcam alpha 8 amp keeps blowing fuses

When the fuses keep blowing suspect an overload in the power supply or on the Main Power Amp board. Chances are that a semiconductor has developed a short and is acting like it was just a piece of wire. The main suspects are power transistors. These can be tested with an Ohm Meter, even in circuit! For when the test probes are applied to each terminal, the meter will act just like you were touching the probes together.

My car Amp keeps blowing the main fuse, How to find the short?

Hello A4en1, hi, A short circuit need not be burned, the short usually are semiconductors such as ICs and transistors or diodes, I suggest you replace your IC power amplifier.

Samick sga 120 amp keeps blowing fuses. replaced all rectifier diodes and tranformer seems to be working fine. any suggestions?

Fuse blowing is due to excessive current drain and the the first clue is the blown fuse itself. If the fuse blows with a flash a bang and splatters copper across the inside of the glass you have a hard blow caused by a dead short on the power supply, check for power switch flashing over internaly. Short circuit main filter capacitors. Shorted turns in power transformer primary winding. If fuse just separates check for short on output transistors C to E. Try isolating fault by disconnecting LT pos/neg supplies to output stage. Also check for partial shorts on speakers and speaker wires using an analog ohm meter on low ohms setting.

ok first there could be a direct short in the ecu causing the fuse to blow OR the alternator/starter solenoid could be shorting out and blowing the fuse unhook the alternator and see if it blows the fuse then repeat with the starter and the ecu and let me know what happens

Nad 218 thx power amp keeps blowing ac plug fuse

Hi there. From memory they had bridge rectifier problems with them going short circuit. Check them first. Sometimes the toroidal transformer can go a shorted turn, in turn blowing primary fuses. try to soft start it whilst it is blowing fuses, Best bet is to make up a special lead that has a 60w light bulb wired in series with the mains power supply(or across the fuse holdwer that is blowing:). Limits the power in the circuit to ... well you guessed it 60 watts.

check em out and let me know.

regards
Graeme

Main fuse blown on CT-32G11 32" Panasonic TV, Replacement fuses continue to blow.

If the main fuse keeps blowing, check the horizontal output transistor for a shorted condition and diodes in that section as well.
