Just read my description, not very helpful!!! Was late at night!!

The main circuit in the washing machine has an integrated fuse on it. When the washing machine stopped working I looked at the board and saw the blown fuse. This is the one I have replaced. It still keeps blowing when power supplied to it..??

Sounds like you have too small a circuit for this washer.

Hi Norm33,

The often found cause of this problem is the door interlock. There is a safety feature to stop any operation while the door is open. If this becomes faulty, the washer may still not work even when the door is closed. Check that when closing the door, the catch is activating the switch. To test the switch, first make sure the WASHER IS NOT PLUGGED IN, then use an electrician's meter to test the resistance across the switch. You should put the two electrodes on the contacts at the back of the switch. When the door is closed, the resistance reading should read a very low value.

Another possible cause for this is a fault on the timer. You should inspect the connecting wires for any sign of burnt plastic or charring on the spade connectors. You will need to replace the timer if this is the problem. Please dont forget to rank me.

I have a speed queen sc35md2yu40001washer that keeps blowing the 2amp fuse as soon as I switch on the breaker it is the fuse where the incoming power goes through before it goes to the transformer

Good job tracing the location of the fuses. Now, logically, the transformer is the next thing to check. When power is turned off at the house breaker, remove one of the wires on the output side of the transformer and see what happens when you turn the power back on. If the fuse blows, the transformer is shot and needs to be replaced. If not, go to the next device on the circuit, etc...

Samsung wash machine B12455 and it keeps blowing house fuse when i shut door and press start?

There is definatley a short in the main power section of the main controller unit. Usually this can be a surge protector or a possible short in the rectifier or a major SMPS power failure.
Unless the panel is removed this cannot be confirmed and so take precaution to test the panel for short in the main line circuit.

well, seems to me that you are using too much juice for the circuit, which implies a SERIOUS issue with the machine. perhaps the motor is locked, or something in control panel is shorted out?

Fuse keeps blowing out in my maytag washing machine

the power surge probably shorted out something in the main wire harness or fried your motor. remove the screws from the control panel and look for any wires that are discolored, charred or disconnected. in the event you do't find it there trace the wiring thru the cabinet looking for the same thing. if you don't find that, replace the motor
