The printer software is available on Canon's website. Visit their website and look up the model of the printer. Then, towards the bottom is a section titled "Drivers & Software." Click there and select which Operating System you have and you'll be able to download the driver software and install your printer.

A section for "Drivers" and a section for "Software" will expand. All you need is the driver for your computer to recognize the printer. The software section contains miscellaneous productivity programs for editing and printing photos and what not.
To get the drivers to make the printer work with your computer go to this link and halfway down click on the Download and Drivers section. From there you can download all the software and drivers to make your printer work with your PC.
