Question about Dometic RM2652 Refrigerator
MY DOMETIC RM2652 WORKS FINE IN ELECTRIC MODE. WHEN SWITCHED TO GAS WILL NOT IGNITE. I HAVE MANUALLY LIT THE GAS AND FRIDGE WORKS FINE. I HAVE REMOVED THE ELECTRODE BUT NOT SURE IT IS THE PROBLEM. CHECKED VOLTAGE ON ELECTRODE APPROX 10 VOLTS. DOES THIS FRIDGE SEND VOLTAGE TO ELECTRODE SEVERAL TIMES IE CLICKING SOUND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LIGHT, MINE DOES NOT.
The part you are looking for is the thermo couple. It senses the heat from the flame and holds the gas valve open. The clicking will try three times and then go into lock out. You then will need to reset on the front of the fridge. When installing the thermo couple do not over tighten.
