did you try reading the memory card without any game discs put in via the ps2 menu?
is your memory card working properly? could be a corrupted memory card or a faulty memory card slot. try putting a friend's memory card on that same slot. if it works... then your memory card is gone bad... if it doesnt work...then your memory card slot has gone bad.
else try putting your memory card in your friend's ps2, see if that ps2 reads your memory card. if it does...then your memory card slot has gone bad.
well, if it only does this error for one game then maybe the problem is in the game itself? Is the CD a real one? or is it copied with a golden back? if it is copied then such things can definitely happen.
ok sounds like in ternal problem swich psp off insert the card ? swich back on and see if it reads ? if not then swich ps2 on with out card in it and while it on insert card and see what happens if this still fails to solve your problem then im sorry to say it needs a doctor
The fact that you got it to work at all is a miracle, newer models of the PS2 have the ability to block the use of memcards bigger than 8mb (sony only makes 8mb ones). It's one of the newer features sony put in, like the lack of usb keyboard support and the inability to use some of the non-sony controllers.
