Both of your problems can easily be solved by reformatting and re-installing windows on your machine.
If that is not what you want to do, Then you'll need to delve into some all-nighter work.
The network issue sounds like either A) a proxy is preventing traffic from getting from point A to point B. or B) your wireless card needs proper drivers/replacement or C) you're connecting to another computer without configuring internet sharing and not an access point or D) your access point needs configuring.
Windows very rarely allows you to have two antivirus programs. You need to uninstall the first to install the other!
By existing security do you mean another Anti-Virusprogram? If so you need to uninstall it, you can only run on Anti-Virus program at a time.
For not being able to go to websites, check out the connection settings in Internet Explorer.
-open internet explorer and go to Tools -> Internet Options.
-click the tab for "Connections"
-Remove any dial up connections that may be in the box to the left.
-click on LAN settings
-The only box that should be checked in lan settings is "automatically detect settings" uncheck any other boxes.
- once you have done this click on then go to the advanced tab
-in the advanced section, click on restore advanced settings.
-close internet explorer, open it back up and try again.

Looks like you first may need to uninstall your anti virus protection before you install mcafee. what is your current operating system? is it windows xp, windows vista, or windows 7?
Also please check if you have internet connection. Go to Start-Run- and type CMD
once the black box comes up, type in PING Google.com and let me know what the computer says
