I'm looking for a rebuild kit for our Husky model HDS650 paint gun if available

The needle valve in the spray head needs to be cleaned or replaced.

If paint comes out of the spray gun after you release the handle, your problem is inside the gun. If the needle tip or seat are damaged or the spring that holds them closed is broken, paint will be able to get past the the needle and will come out of the gun even when the handle isn't held open. The stock spray gun that comes with the the XR5 doesn't have any servicable parts inside it so if it isn't working properly it may be garbage fodder. If you have an aftermarket gun, rebuild kits may be available.

The seals and o-rings for this nail gun, made in the late 1990s, were only available in rebuild kits. I am a C-H service center and none of kits for this gun are available any more and I could not find them on any of my aftermarket parts sites either. If you would like to look into it further you need either the cylinder o-ring kit, part number SV289026AV, or the complete o-ring replacement kit, part number SV506900AV.

when you pull the trigger can u see the needle moving backward? if so, then it's either the paint is too thick compare to the nozzle size or the passage for paint is blocked. try to take the nozzle, needle and the cup off and give it a good clean!

You most likely have a leak at the seal for the neddle try tightening the nut at the trigger if that dosn't work take it apart and check the seal replace if required .This should stop the surgeing at the tip

What kind of system are running the gun off conventional airless or air asstied airless

Stanley Bostitch doesn't make kits to rebuild their nail guns, you have to order each o-ring, seal, etc. seperately. The N16 was a good gun however there are very few parts available for them. You can go to www.bostitch.com to see what's available through them. You can also get part numbers for what you need for your guns and research any available parts on the web.

I looked up same gun. I think I googled "binks model 2001 spray gun" and I got a pdf with all info and diagrams. On the available websites, I looked for the one that looked like official Binks site.
The PDF # I got is 77-2316R-14.pdf. It shows that #7 o ring
