Error massage on display screen saying belt jam is as a result that the oven conveyor motor failure. If it does not move or function. The fault could be inside the motor circuit that contains hall effect sensor, the motor could be stack, or the controll boar may require cleaning wit dryclener liquids.

Sibuor, I am having this same issue with my Lincoln Conveyor Oven. Does this mean I need to replace the conveyor motor? Is there a fix I can do on the fly since I am at an event and need the oven now?

  • sibuor Jun 15, 2019

Before you replace the motor please first check the motor brushes, then check the hall effect sensor which is mounted on the conveyor motor, also check that the fuses on the control board are not blown.

Hey guys. I have a lincoln impringer 1456. Everything was working until my oven man flipped the wires to reverse the belt. Now it powers on and conveyer moves but blowers and gas are a no show. What went...

I don't know but a flying guess suggests there is at least one sensor monitoring the movement of the belt and maybe with the belt now travelling in reverse the sensor and/or the brain thinks the belt isn't moving or believes there is a potentially fatal fault.
This shouldn't matter much if the sensor is optical or hall effect generator but if it is a magnetic type it will be generating a sensor signal the wrong way around, probably...

GE wall oven JK3800SHSS. Started clicking loudly during last 5 mins of Self-Clean. Ongoing clicking and running fan. How do I diagnose/fix this?

what was the error code?you should never self clean your oven before any big holidays, for reasons like this, if it takes out a part the part most likely will have to be ordered and the last day they take orders at my parts store is monday before thanksgiving so if it's your clock and you have to order it you might not have it for thanksgiving so hopefully you just have a bad latch assy. and you can get it fixed before the holiday, from what i've seen i will never self clean my oven,i use easy off and scrub it,the oven gets up to 1000 degrees and it damages the electronics in the oven.the clicking you hear could be the latch assy. unplug the oven.open the door and see if the hook part that locks into the door isn't jammed,i just went out tuesday to change a latch assy and that part was jammed, the rod that goes from the motor and to the door latch was hitting the metal part of the latch that bolts to the frame and i couldn't move the hook part or catch at all and the motor was clicking trying to move it,i had to lift the top of the stove, bend the body of the catch assy. so the rod could move freely and that fixed it.but using the self clean short lives the oven and it can damage the latch or the clock assy.send the error or just goggle it and it will tell you what it is.

I have a lincoln impinger model 1117 pizza oven and getting belt jam error message. what does that mean and what needs to be done to repair? thanks

Check the reversing switch in the back. Pull the common wire off and short it to the other wire going to the switch. If it runs great. The only other way to really test it is to swap motors or boards. If it isn't the reversing switch it is the board or motor.

When I turn on my 2001 blodgett 2136 E/AB it flashes SP MTR, the belt wont run, and there is a loud buzz. What's wrong?

http://download.partstown.com/is-bin/intershop.static/WFS/Reedy-PartsTown-Site/-/en_US/manuals/BL_MT2136_sm.pdf

this web site shows your manual and indicates that the issue is the motor needs attention. I would think that the motor has failed mechanically and is "Locked Up." The buzzing is the motor trying to run but can not as it does not move. The SP MTR indicates motor speed issue.

How to change the bulb in oven cant get cover off

Hi, W/D here.
If your cover is the screw-on type, it takes a little patience to get it off. Try tapping the cover lightly with a rubber/wooden/plastic hammer or similar object. (I have used a wooden meat tenderizer). You don't want to break it. When you tap it, begin unscrewing it as you tap. The globe will move slightly. The tendency when it does move is to try to completely remove the globe, but this will just cause it to jam again. When it gives just a little, rotate the globe back towards the closed position then back towards the opened position, each time working the globe between positions where the globe will jam. What is usually the case is that there is a bit of built up cooking material that gets in between the glass and metal threads, and over a period of time makes into a crusty substance. By working the globe without forcing it, the crust breaks down into a finer material and the globe will come off.
Best regards, --W/D--

Oven fan

almost certainly a problem with the fan and motor. try moving fan blade with a small screwdrriver thro the holes in the back panel to see if it is jammed. after that you are faced with removing appliance, remove back panel and check motor continuity
