That sounds like a driver problem to me, I'd start by rolling back the driver to the old one, if that doesn't work I'd outright replace it with a known working driver.
If you want to try this, push the pause/break key while holding the windows key, this opens the system window. From this window open the device manager. Once in the device manager, open the display adapters tab by clicking on it, right click on the actual display adapter and select properties. This opens another window, in this window click on the driver tab and hit roll back driver then restart the system. If this doesn't help you could tell windows to update driver. If all else fails (i.e. windows cant/wont update the driver) uninstall the driver completely and then go back to task man and click on actions, then scan for changes. Let plug-n-play reinstall the driver completely and restart. Hope this helps.

I'm getting the Resolution Notice, that I should change the display size. There is no provision in Win 10 hardware on an HP desktop. Is there a driver for VG2030wm?

A driver for the monitor may be available, but not likely for Windows 10. Chances are that you have upgraded this machine to Windows 10 and did not get it originally this way. What happens with some of the older systems (and they don't have to more than 2 or 3 years old for this) is that there is no specific video driver found for your onboard (or add-on) video card and Win 10 uses the standard VGA driver. This driver has limited resolution options. You need to investigate and determine what video card you have (nVidia, ATI), and what model the card is. Then go to the appropriate site and download the latest drivers from that site for the card you have. Do not worry if they do not list Windows 10 support. Chances are they will work. Install the updated driver package and see if your resolution issues vanish. To see what driver you currently have, right-click on the Windows Icon in the lower left and select Device Manager. Look under Display Adapter to see what Windows 10 has installed for your machine. If it the Standard VGA (generic), you should try to update it as explained above.

I am not able to install hp lj 1300 drivers in win 7 64 bit os , please help me

According to HP, you don't need to download drivers from HP for this product for Win 7. Just use the Add Printer wizard function of Win 7 to go to the Microsoft Update site and get the driver from there. Follow the directions in this link:

HP LaserJet Driver support included in Windows 7 or in Windows Update

Vga drivers windows 7 32bit

Windows 7x & 8x will find the drivers for you automatically - if you are connected to internet.
Just go to control panel ' system 'device manager.
Under "Display Adapter", Right click on the microsoft basic VGA display driver there and select Update Driver software. Then Select "search automatically for updated driver software".
Just be patient and wait for Win 7 to find it, download it & install it for you.

I CONNECTED THE EXTERNAL HD (HDS5C3015ALA632) UNDER WIN XP, NO PROBLEMS. THEN I CONNECTED TO ANOTHER PC WITH WIN 7, PC DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE HD AND ASKS TO FORMAT IT. JEAN FRANCOIS BELGIUM

It is because your computer which is windows xp is not able to be updated to windows seven. And when you format it you will loose everything xp. But then you can put everything windows seven on it.

How we can change windows7 langueg for exmple fraench to english

Windows 7 language packs are available for computers that are running Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise. The Windows 7 language packs can be installed only from the Optional Updates section in Windows Update. However, these language packs are not available on the Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) server or through the Microsoft Download Center.

To download and install a Windows 7 language pack, follow these steps:
  1. Start Microsoft Update. To do this, click Start Collapse this imageExpand this image vistastartbutton.jpg, type Microsoft Update in the Start Search box, and then click Microsoft Update in the Programs list.
  2. Click the optional update links for the language packs.
  3. Under the Windows 7 Language Packs category, select the desired language pack.

Note If you install many additional language packs, the disk space and system performance are affected. In particular, disk space and system performance are affected during servicing operations, such as Service Pack installations. Therefore, we recommend that you only add a language pack to your computer if you will use the language pack.
  4. Click OK, and then click Install updates to start the download and installation process.

When you install a language pack, you can change the interface language of Windows 7 to the language that you select.
Language packs also let multiple users who share a computer select distinct display languages. For example, one user can select to see the dialog boxes, menus, and other text in Japanese, whereas another user can select to see the same content in French.

To change the display language, follow these steps:
    1. Click Start, and then type Change display language in the Start Search box.
    2. Click Change display language.
    3. In the drop-down list that appears, select the language that you want, and then click OK.
To uninstall a language pack, follow these steps:
    1. Click Start, and then type Uninstall display language in the Start Search box.
    2. Click Install or uninstall display languages.
    3. Click Uninstall display languages.
    4. Select the language or the languages that you want to uninstall, and then click Next.
    5. Follow the rest of the steps to uninstall this language or these languages.
After you install the desired language packs, you can hide unwanted language packs in Windows Update. To hide unwanted language packs in Windows Update, follow these steps:
    1. Click the Windows 7 Language Packs category in the Select the updates you want to install page to highlight all the language packs.
    2. Right-click the highlighted updates, and then select Hide update.

VGA driver for toshiba A135-S4527

Toshiba does not provide XP drivers for this laptop. Installing all the updates from the Windows Update site did a lot of the drivers for me. HOWEVER, Windows Update will misdiagnose the display adapter. It will try to install a driver for the Intel 945GM but it must be some generic 945GM driver, because it will not give you full functionality (e.g., multiple display outputs, etc). Use the method I describe below to get the correct 945GM driver for this display adapter.

=====================================================
Hardware and drivers needed to run Win XP Pro on Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527
==============================================================
Run "infinst_autol.exe". This is an Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility (now called Intel Chipset Device Software I think). It will identify and load the proper driver files (.inf) for various things. I did this at the end last time, but if done near the beginning, it might take care of things like display adapter, etc. Check Intel's site for the most updated one. Go to http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/inf/

Display adapter is Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family
Driver was named win2k_xp14182.exe. I downloaded it initially from
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/deta...1&dwnldid=9683
&agr=n&lang=eng&prdmap=2301

Mouse is Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad
Driver file was called XP_2K.8.3.4.zip. Can be downloaded from the Synaptics website.

Wireless adapter is Atheros AR5006EG
Driver can be gotten from Windows Update (or maybe the Win Vista CD too)

Ethernet adapter is Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC
Driver can be gotten from Windows Update (or maybe the Win Vista CD too)

Modem is Toshiba Software modem
Driver can be gotten from Win Vista CD.

During XP installation, drivers were automatically loaded for:
- multimedia card reader
- firewire port (IEEE 1394)
- DVD/CD drive

I hope this gets your laptop up and running.

Please rate my solution,

Eric
