Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Roxio10 Deluxe Suite, Vista OS - When editing an audio CD label (back of jewel case), all text disappears from project window. All text is still there if you go back to Edit Text but still gone from project window. Others have same problem but no real solutions. HITTING CTRL & Z twice brings original text back to project window but not the edited text. Thank you in advance!

Since Roxio will not aknowledge this issue, I am using Publisher to create my CD jewel cases. I am also using other software programs as work arounds for other Roxio issues that I have. Roxio has really gone down hill since version 7! After being a Roxio user for many years (and several versions), I will no longer encourage others to buy this product.

My conformation code for simcity 4 deluxe isnt working. how do i get a new one?

Confirmation code(s) are NOT used for SimCity 4. That method is only found on programs requiring online activation.

SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition uses the 20-character REGISTRATION code found on the back of the CD case. If you've lost the case, you're out of luck.

The good news is - Being a very old game, it'll be very cheap to buy If you can find it online.

How do i obtain product key number for my new laptop

If u have genuine Operating System preloaded in your laptop, then turn back your laptop you can find the serial number pasted on it. If you don't have the genuine OS preloaded then you can find the serial number on the back side of the CD Cover label.

My pc needs a product key for office 2007

Check your original installation media for the product key (normally on the back of the CD sleeve or jewel case) and type it in. Otherwise, you will need to contact Microsoft to get (another) product key.

Argox 214 not compatible with vista

Thermal printers seem to be notorious for that.

Try using Vista's "Generic/Text" printer driver (you'll need to go into device manager, select to update the drivers, go to Have Disk, select "generic" as the brand). That will send raw text to the printer. Many thermal printers support this.

After you do that, you will also need to go into your printer settings and setup a custom page size that matches the size of your labels. Then you should be good to go.

Hello... Please go thru this. Souce:http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573497
I may have a work around
It is a way to give admin privs to the msi file
First, create a file called Arthur.bat
- Open a folder, say C:\temp
- Right-click and select new, Text Document
- name it Arthur.bat
Next, edit the file
- right click the file and select edit
- put this in the editor ... msiexec /a d:\Arthur.msi
- save and exit
Then, right-click the file and select "Run as administrator"

Worked for me.

There is another msi file (ISScript11.msi) on the CD which I didn't run which may be needed ? But, I managed to play through the tutorial/start so ... we w ill see.

So, it is a permissions thing. Hopefully this will get passed on to the developers and they can resolve it tout-de-suite
