"I contacted the help line and they dont want to help im stumped. " <---that doesn't impress me.

ok a few questions for you

where are you getting these screensavers from? and do you have a link to one of the downloads that you have tryed?

also where the screensaver is installed you might have to use the browse button on the screen savers menu to find the screen saver.

shoot me a link and I will give it a test if you are downloading the screen saver from a link on the internet.

    ok I dowloaded 3dtropicalfishaquarium

and installed it and it came up no problem

what version of windows are you using?

I can install the program but nothing happens....odd enough I played with all the settings and still nothing.

they state " Make sure you have the latest version of the drivers from the manufacturer of your video card. 2. Try to change the resolution settings of the 3D screensaver to 640x480x16 or turn off other screensaver options. 3. Sometimes a program (some Internet connections, communication/chat programs and media players) will access the system periodically and terminate or disrupt the 3D screensaver. Try disabling these types of programs to see if it makes a difference."

but nothing and my computer is no wimp....haha

so decided to goto another website to see what their screensavers would do and the result is

I have dolphins playing on my screensaver.

so please try a screensaver from http://www.freesaver.com/

and see if it works for you as far as the other one. im not to sure what the issue with their files are.

How to customize Screensaver in Windows 10
RECOMMENDED: Click here to fix Windows errors and optimize system performance
There were times when computer monitors used to suffer from image burn-in issues caused by showing the same image for a long period of time and people used to install a screen saver to avoid the issue. The computer screens today no longer face the burn-in issues, but people still use the screen saver on their computer systems for fun's sake. Windows 10 comes with a six built-in screensavers. Let us see how you can customize screensavers in Windows 10.
Read: Are Screensavers necessary and still needed.
Screensaver Settings in Windows 10 You can get to your screen saver settings directly by typing 'Screen Saver' in the taskbar search box in the lower left corner of your system. Click on 'Change Screen Saver' and it will take you the Screen Saver settings right away where you can adjust the settings according to your own preferences.
Alternatively, right-click on your Windows 10 desktop, and select Personalize to open Personalization settings. Next click on Lock screen in the left pane.

Scroll down the Lock Screen settings and click on Screen Saver Settings. The following window will open. Here you can adjust the settings according to your preferences.

By default, Windows 10 offers the following six screensavers - 3D Text, Blank, Bubbles, Mystify, Photos and Ribbons - nothing new here. Select the screensaver from the drop-down menu and change its defaults Settings, if any are available.
For instance, the 3D Text screensaver lets you customize the text as well as a few other options.

The Photos screensaver lets you display your favorite photos as a screen saver.

Once you are done, click on save and exit.

Create Screen Saver Settings Shortcut

If you access the screensaver settings frequently, you can create its desktop shortcut as follows: However, it is easy to change the settings but if you change your screen saver often, it would be better to create a Screen Saver Settings shortcut on your desktop.
To create the shortcut, you have to right-click on your desktop and click on New > Shortcut.
Type control desk.cpl,,@screensaver in the location space in the wizard.
Click Next and give a name to your shortcut. Click Next and you are done. Give it a suitable icon of your choice.
Use this shortcut to change or adjust your screen saver settings whenever you want, quickly.
You can also create a shortcut to launch or change Screensaver state for a specific screensaver.

Screensaver not working

In Windows XP, right click on your desktop somewhere, and choose Properties. On the Screen Saver tab, pick another Screen Saver from the drop down, and set the Wait time to 1 minute. Click OK and see if it works. You may have to drill into "Settings" next to the screen saver. Depending on your hardware, the 3D screen saver might be too much for it to handle. Try disabling some things in settings or choosing a different Screen Saver.
Hope this helps! If so, please give a rating!

Nonfunctioning screensaver for Windows Vista Desktop

Click on the Settings on your screen saver.

Also make sure you have a time listed in the "wait" column. It may be set too high "in Minutes"

My suggestion is try one of the preloaded screen savers such as Windows Logo and set time "wait" to one minute to see if the screen saver you are using is at fault.

Screen saver freeze

Its probably your graphics card or driver. Try changing your screensaver to one without animations, if that fixes it you need to look into your graphics processing.

Emachine desktop shows screensaver but no icon tray below

Okay here we go. Click on the start button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen then click on control panel. Make sure your in Category view and if your not then click on where it says on the left hand side of the box "Switch to Category View".

After this click on "Appearance and Themes" then click on where it says "Choose a screen saver". From there you should be able to choose a different screen saver or to disable it. Try it out and let me know.
