Cannot get start up screen - Compaq Computers & Internet

If your GPS battery is fully charged, and the GPS device doesn't go past your start-up screen (e.g. agreement, owner, etc) to get to a driving screen, there's a possibility your navigation software may be corrupted; i.e. it hangs. I'm assuming it stays there, at the start up screen, for a very long time ...
Have you tried to do a "reboot" ... by holding down the ON/OFF button for a (long) while (until the system shuts down and starts up again) and then let it go ? Or have you tried to do a "hard reboot" by depressing the reset (hole) ?

The Start screen is the default screen that shows ups when you turn your computer on. Most of the programs and applications installed on your computer will appear there. However, some programs and applications such as Paint, appear on the App screen. You can, however, move those to the start screen by right clicking them > Pin to Start. Finding the App screen is easy: Right-click a blank area in the Start screen > All apps icon at the lower right.

If a Windows machine, press F8 during bootup to get into the startup screen and select Safe Mode. If you are able to boot to the desktop, launch the System Restore and restore the system files to a restore point that is before you started having this problem. System Restore is in All Programs -> Accessories -> and if not right there it will be in System Tools.

sounds like you need a new screen transformer or new screen or new graphics card - expensive

tap the screen at target for few moment untill align screen does not go.it takes several attemp.after align screen disappear time & date setting option appear.set it.after this window will reinstalling.it takes few minutes.after this phone will be started. your phone contact will no get loss.

change the power section capacitors..

hi, if ur screen turns white, it could be any problem starting from ur LCD to motherboard or as u said a virus. to assist u in a right way i need to know what exactly is happening between that short duration between pressing the button and white screen. most importantly is anything else comming up on the screen before the white screen.

your touch screen gone just change your touch screen it goes back to normal
