Sounds like wiring problems. Unhook everything, then get owners manual for proper instruction

SOURCE: NAD C270 amp won't switch from red power/protection to green.

The AH may denote "slo-blo" style as opposed to Fast-acting
A fast-acting fuse will look like a single strand of wire ( maybe wiggly looking) ..A Slo-blo will have an element in it and a spring

I have a rotel amp model no is ra-313

I'm guessing you don't know for sure that it even needs fuses. They don't go out like they used to, as everything is controlled by a microprocessor(computer within your unit). I would suggest, that you, with the power plug pulled out, use an ohm meter to be sure that each fuse is shorted. Hi, I have a Rotel 1050 receiver that I am trying to hook up to a NAD 2400 THX amp. I do not know how to "bridge" the connections so that the Rotel amps are not disabled. Any help is appreciated.

I think the best solution is to remove the jumpers from the Pre Out - Mon In connectors, insert a pair of RCA Y-adapters and plug one end back to the Mon In while the other ends feed the NAD (Page 15 of the manual available at Retrevo.com) . The Rotel's volume and other controls will still be in charge of the NAD.

The manual fails to mention looping the Pre Out back to the Mon In to enable the Rotel's amp to still participate in the program material.

The two 5 amp fuse inside the amplifier keeps blowing

Hi,

That must be the inrush current.
Maybe you are using the wrong fuses.
Please check if those are fast or slow types.
You need slow types.

Good luck,
Gerard

Rotel power amp

some amps have a switch to bridge them rather than wiring a bridge meaning output is mono check to see if yours has this switch if you do simply put back to stereo
