You mention in your email that is easy to fix the problem I am having with my HP Laserjet 1300 (paper will not feed into printer). I can that the paper is pushed up, but it is not picked up by the pinch roller. I have tried various thicknees of paper, but no luck. I tried the laserjet cleaning paper but still no luck.

One you have a messed up print job trying to print and when you turn the printer on the job just starts over.
Two the clutch that stops the pick roller is bad and the roller just keeps turning.
Unplug the machine from the computer and turn it off unplug power for awhile turn it back on not connected to the computer. If condition remains it is the clutch.
If condition goes away delete print jobs and re connect printer.
Hope this helps
firistly try to find out the printer is ready or not then find out when we powearing on the printer then it is warming up or not if it is warning up and not come to ready position then open front cover pull the toner cartage and send back it propely
then give print if the problem is not solved then ckeck the printer cables and drivers
Try clearing the que. It may be the first job is to big for the memory. Also, be sure the printer is not in manual feed mode. The directions will be in the user manual if you are not sure how to change it.
you need a new paper pickup feed roller- about $5.00 and easy to replace. This is generally the one part that wears out on these printers. see this article. http://www.printertechs.com/tech/mkinst/mk-1300-3puroller.php
