Question about Dell M5200n Laser Printer
Will only allow to print as manual feed. Have tried to program it to feed from tray and nothing seems to work, it always defaults back to manual feed.
Pull out tray 1 & ensure the gray left-rear paper type clip is completely in the notched hole.

It sounds like your paper selection for the tray is set to the wrong size. The easiest way to find out is to go to the utilities menu on the printer menu and print a configuration page. You can verify the tray settings from the report. If you need repair info, hit google and search for a manual on a LEXMARK OPTRA T630. Your Dell 5200 is actually a Lexmark Optra T630 clone. Basically Lexmark put gray covers on it and changed and eprom on the motherboard so that it will say "I'm a Dell". Hope that helps you.
