CAN ANYONE HELP WITH HOW DO WE TRANSFER JVC GZ-HD7AA TO APPLE IMOVIE 8?
INSTALLED CYBERLINK SOFWARE THAT CAME WITH THE CAMERA AND WHEN I FOLLOW JVC PROCEDURE IT DOESN'T OPEN UP IMOVIE8 ,INSTEAD IT PLACES A EVERIO ICON ON THE MAC DESKTOP AND CHANGES THE VIEDO IMAGES INTO CYBERLINK IMAGES. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD OPEN UP IMOVIE8 AND ALLOW ME TO IMPORT INTO IMOVIE8. ANY IDEAS?

You need to use the firewire cable to transfer video, if I remember correctly the usb is only used for still images and cardreader.

I would uninstall the JVC software, and directly connect the camera to iMovie, OS X should have the drivers installed, so there is no need to use 3rd party software.
