You can buy replacement keys for your vw and audi on ebay.

Go to a VW dealer. They will test your wheel lock key out of 30 or so different possibilities, and when they find a match you can buy a replacement. It will cost you $25.00 - $30.00 for the new wheel lock and there is no reason to buy new bolts because this will just replace the wheel lock that you lost. I just had the same problem.

As long as you know the key number, go back to your dealer.

If you don't know the number then you will have to get them all removed by professional ie the dealer or a tyre centre and buy a new set of bolts/nuts.

Can't find wheel lock key for 2005 VW. Can't take it anywhere because sitting in driveway with flat tire. Is there an emergency type wheel lock removal key available to buy?

it would be cheaper to call out local brakedown recovery people , they will have one and remove it for you, you possibly could buy one from a motor vehicle supply store expencive way or online, sorry its not that helpfull

Lost wheel key that came with 2008 jetta. how do i get whels off to rotate, 50 miles to nearest vw dealer.

Depending on the style lock I had used a socket which a hammered on so tight then took a ratchet to remove the lock. Also a muffler clamp saddle will do if hammered into the locks keyway slot. Then two pipe wrenches are needed to remove the lock that way. One wrench goes onto the muffle saddle and the other wrench attaches to the one wrench's handle so you can turn it loose .. Hard to explain but after reading this message draw a picture of my explanation to figure out.

2005 VW Jetta TDI Wagon: Left brake light doesn't

Very difficult. You have to open the inside access door on the drivers side, remove the amp and wheel well cover, pinch the tabs and the bulb cluster will release. The taillight assembly is bolted from inside of the car, so it can't be done outside.

2006 Volkswagen Jetta Ignition Lock Problem

I know this is a little late, but I just encountered the same problem with a 2005.5 jetta tdi. Went to put key in ignition and encountered a white plastic tumbler(?) blocking the keyhole. Car was parked, tires were straight and steering wheel was locked. Tried moving wheel up, down, left and right and also tried applying a small amount of oil thinking something was just stuck. Did what I could and finally called VW roadside assistance. Local dealer took a look this afternoon and notified me that the ignition switch is faulty and they have to order a new one from Germany which will take 2 weeks to arrive. Plus side, the part and labor will be covered under CPO warranty, but of course, the warranty doesn't cover a rental car for the two weeks this one will be out of commission.

My key will not go into the ingition.

when the steering wheel is locked, simply put the key in the ignition, then turn the wheel and turn the wheel at the same time and it unlocks the key cylinder

98 VW jetta: key wont turn in hole

Get some graphite or lock oil and put it into the ignition. This should help alot,Also if you try to turn the steering wheel while turning the key it will releave the pressure on the wheel lock and this helps as well (when the wheel is locked, you should only be able to move it a little bit in one direction)

Wheel lock nut & bolt stripped...how can i fix this ??

YES YOU CAN BUY NEW LUG NUTS AND KEYS AT ANY AUTO PARTS STORE. THE ONLY PROBLEM I CAN SEE IS GETTING THE OLD LUG OFF. AS FAR AS THAT GOES, JUST BE AS CAREFUL AS POSSIBLE NOT TO STRIP IT OUT ANY MORE THAN IT ALREADY IS.
