Make sure that your tv is on the correct mode to display the gamecube.

not sure what yours maybe but you can try, channel 3
you can also try pressing mode on the tv remote
also try pressing input select on the remote (if mode is not present)

Make sure all your cables are tight and that you have check to make sure both the connections at the tv and at the gamecube are correct.

do you have sound coming out of the tv?

White is your audio signal, not video. If you are using a composite hook up, yellow is your video and needs to go in the yellow slot. White and red is your left and right audio. If you are using a component hook up, then you will need to use red, green and blue for video and white and red for audio.

you have to change the input on the tv to AV. there should be an input button on the remote, but if your remote doesnt work you might not be able to change the input. you can try to use the channel up and down on the tv and once you get to the end of the numbers, some tvs will change inputs before restarting the number list. make sure you hook the yellow cable to the yellow plugs on the dvd and the tv and either of the red or white ones to the white one on the tv. red and white are left and right audio and the yellow one is the video

Can i hook my laptop up to my sylvania 6427gff tv?

I don't know the TV but it should have either a vga, s-vga or just normal white, yellow and red plug in sockets. If it has any of these, then yes you can.

Trying to get ps2 to play on new tv..

USE a VCR between the PS2 and the Sylvania TV.  Hook the PS2 A/V cable RCA connectors( Red, Yellow, White) to one of the the Video input RCA connectors( Yellow, Red, White) on the VCR. Hook the VCR Cable output to your Sylvania Cable input. Set the Sylvania Tv to channel 3 or 4.  Set the VCR channel to Line 1 or Line 2.  This should work. I hope it helps you.
