Can you view the pictures in the camera directly? Are the pictures on internal memory or on placed SD card? If the pictures are NOT shown within the camera or when you put in a SD card and your pictures are on internal memory... you can change the menu settings accordingly. If pictures are not shown in the camera, you might want to try the camera Data Repair option: Manual page 41. Check if the camera is seen by the computer as USB Removeable device. You can also manually transfer the pictures with e.g. the Windows Explorer.
the cam is seen by the computer as USB and i can tranfer my photos (copy paste). i can see the photos dierectly in the cam and they are on internal memory...the problem is with the ib program, because it cannot recognize the photos and i cannot edit them..i did not explain my problem right..im sorry but thanks a lot for the help...:-)
In any case you should try the Data Repair option, which may repair the database. After that you may rebuild it from the ib software pointing it to the folder where your images are. The [ib] software is quite ugly, bloated and full of bugs. You may want to use better and also free Olympus software:http://support.olympus-imaging.com/ov2do...
You need to give your cameras serial number to download it.
oh!!!thanks a lot!!!that's a better idea...than to try work with ib.I ll try the data repair option anyway.thanks again!
