No. If the printer has a seperate power supply you should be OK just buying a new power supply but if the power cable plugs into the printer itself you will need to take it to a service centre.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

HP LJ cm2320 wont power on

Actually, if the manual says it's the fuser, it's probably the fuser. I haven't had this problem myself, but circuit boards coming before the fuser are not indicative of anything.

Again without personal experience with this specific part; I would suggest buying one locally rather than on the internet, open the packaging very carefully, and take it back to the store if it doesn't fix the problem.

Xerox M20i workcenter will not turn on

Try plugging the printer in to a different outlet and it if it is still not turning on at all you need to replace the power supply. Part# 140N62859 for 110V version or part# 140N62860 in the UK or other places that use 220V. has these in stock and can ship same day. Good luck, hope this helps

I have an HP photosmart plus b209a-m and I keep on getting this "unreadable images" error that keeps on popping up and it is very annoying. I was wondering what it was and how to get rid of it.

Turn-Off the Printer using the Power Button.
Unplug power-supply cord from printer.
Unplug Power plug from power outlet.
wait 30 seconds.
Plug cord back into printer.
Plug power cord into Power outlet.
Turn-On power using Power button.
Now when you check printer status, it will be OK.

What is the powerrequirement of a Lexmark x4850 printer? Can I plug this on a 220VAC power outlet?

You need to check the manual .
Use ONLY the delivered power cord . If you have bought the device in an official retail shop in W Europe including UK , you may plug it on a 220 VAC outlet . Not in USA ! You would fry the PSU and/or could cause serious internal damage to the device unless a safety fuse springs somewhere .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .

Where can i find a power cord for my hp psc 1350 all-in-one printer, im based in the uk, so must be suitable for uk power outlet, cant find one anywhere.

1 Use the original power cord which came with the printer. All you have to do is to go to any of the electronics shop in your area and get the multi socket extension cord which can be plugged to UK power outlets. Connect the printer through this.

Canon pixma mp180 won't turn on

it could be your cartridges is not in its home position, as you heard some sound, it was an indicator that the platform is trying to go and find its home position.
try these steps:
-plug this to a different outlet -move with your hand gently the cartridges assy to your left and to your right,
if you can feel some resistance while moving see if there is any obstruction and clear this out first.
reset the whole printer by unplugging

Computer goes into Hybernate Mode after each print Job.

Try plugging the printer power cable into a different power outlet, preferably an outlet that is not shared. I had a similar problem but in my case, the computer would crash. For some reason, the HL-5250DN demands so much electricity on starting a job that it doesn't play nice with the other equipment.

HP C6180 all in one

Have an HP C6180 that would not turn on, no power. Unplugged and replugged the unit in the back - no fix. Unplugged the unit at the wall socket, reconnected and I thought I heard a faint click in the power supply. Hit the on button and the C6180 powered up - no issues. Without knowing for sure, possibly the power supply has some type of surge arrest safety switch.
