No. If the printer has a seperate power supply you should be OK just buying a new power supply but if the power cable plugs into the printer itself you will need to take it to a service centre.

Keeps popping DMI immediately when it is plugged in its a refridgerator

Refrigerators need to be plugged into a regular outlet without anything else plugged in. DMI's, GFI's, or GFCI's are designed to trip at the slightest increase in amp draw. When the compressor turns on the outlet senses the spike and trips the curcuit. So to fix the fridge plug it into another outlet that is not part of the dmi circuit.

How do I contact kindle in uk ?

I've heard of these problems before but without knowing your exact model number just try pressing and holding the power button for a FULL 40 seconds. Ensure that it is not plugged into any power outlet or PC first. Hold it for 40 seconds. Time yourself. Better to go longer than not the full 40. Hope that helps. After you've done that, power it back up.

I plugged in my Dell PC from US with 115V in a 230 outlet in Asia. Heard a pop noise and all went dead. What is the fix for this? Please help.

If you're lucky, you'll only need a new power supply for this machine. It probably hasn't damaged the rest of the PC (from my experience of repairing such things), but you'll need to try a power supply to find out.

It is possible that the interconnection link(s) between the two sockets in the duplex outlet have blown apart. Turn off power at the electrical panel for this circuit, remove the outlet from it's box, and check the interlink on both sides. If obviously burned, replace the socket. A better option is to run another duplex cable from the breaker box to the outlet from a new breaker, cut the interconnections on the new socket, and wire the new cable to the isolated part of the socket. This supplies full power to each half and allows both units to run at the same time.

Loud pop with smoke

Don't know why just plugging it into a new outlet would cause that unless you have a problem with that outlet. Sounds like it may have burned out the low voltage circuitry. I would advise having the outlet checked and certified safe before plugging anything else into it. Also, it sounds like the oven is toast, (Sorry!)

Hitachi Ultravision 53"- went blank

If it popped, it may have done one of 2 things, the convergence amps may have gone out, or there may be something in the horizontal output section that is shorted, either way call the repairman.
