Hi

If the cursor is stuck/frozen when we use the touchpad it can be solved by the following method.
Switch off the laptop, disconnect it from power, remove the battery and keep pressing the Power switch for 30 seconds.
Then reconnect battery and the external power in that order and power on the laptop. the cursor will be moving again.

Please check this related discussion which is similar to your problem:-

Try clicking on the fn, f3, or f7 key to unlock it. It sounds like it's locked. Different functions keys work for different kinds of computers. It should have a keypad emblem with an x across it.

If you type in Administrator, and press enter, then it should bypass your password.

Cursor stuck

Something might be corrupted, like OS or application. There are too many variables, but try booting into Safe Mode by pressing F8 during boot and using System Restore. There you can choose a date to roll back prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates. Plus you can uninstall any programs that may have caused the problem.

Hi...how do i find my cursor...i cant find it... i can move it,but cant see it....wat do i do?

What tye of operating system are you running?
How do you know you can move it if you can't see it?

you can open a command prompt (start, run, type "cmd" without the quotes and hit enter in Windows XP or just tye in cmd in search box in Vista) type in "Control" and hit enter. Select the mouse (mouse and pointers in Windows XP) option and you can test your mouse or change your cursor.

My cursor moves but i cant click on my acer aspire 5335

Check the click rate under mouse setting.

The default or the last owner's setting may be too slow/fast for you.
