Question about Computers & Internet
I recently bought an acer aspire 2920z loptop in Singapore. It came with a licensed vista. No acer disk was given to drive my hardware for different OS, as in the old days. However, most of my softwares do not run on vista so I loaded it up with XP. To my surprise, I couldnt run my LAN, sound card, etc on XP. The acer website is of no use. Where can I get the xp drivers?

I have downgrade two different Acer machines to XP successfully.
The Acer Support Website can be very hard to navigate. Try this link; http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acer/bin/acer.html#
Select "Notebooks", scroll down until you come to the 2920z, see if you can find your specific hardware items. The list includes both Vista and XP drivers.
Let me know if you have any questions.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:

Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure you
select the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers you
that require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on your
laptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -
