Question about Sony VGPPRSZ1.CEL Docking Station for VAIO SZ Series
I have a sony vaio sz 75, I recently purchased a a docking station however the laptop is not recognising this docking station and there is no connection - no power etc
SOURCE: sony vaio r505jl docking station
I googled this and found that both the notebook itself and the docking station have ethernet connections, the docking station ethernet connection seems to be between the usb and monitor connection, The notebook itself has a ethernet connection on the right side of the notebook near the back under a rubber cover. Let me know if that was correct or not.

The internet speed depends on your internet connection along side with your downloading speed, and the processor is fast enough for casual play but not extreme gaming or streaming, although you can upgrade the processor. Buy a pre-built computer and get basic cheap parts, if you want a extreme computer, you will need to special order it or rebuild it yourself with top of the line after market modules.

Yepp, its easy to solve that problem. Get in the bios and change the boot up seqvence, ist probly set to look for all kinds of bootble divices, change that to only boot from the hdd in your laptop, disable all other boot devices, when you done that, hit F10 to save the settings and restart your laptop.

You should be able to go into power management utility whether it be sony or Windows and change the "when lid is closed" option from hibernate/shutdown to "do nothing"
CP>Power Options>Power Schemes
