We have a Coleman Evcon air conditioning unit model brcs036b and we cannot get it to turn on nor can we find if there are any fuses. the heater works but the actual fan motor for the air conditioner...

Check your stat. is it set properly on cooling, and low enough to turn the unit on, with power on and the stat calling for cooling you should at least get the fan and the out door to kick on, if not your stat or the transformer could be bad. there is a reset on the transf. on some of the unit that could be tripped

I have the Coleman Powermate 11 gallon air compresser, and it just stopped working. I checked all the connections inside, it doesnt need oil, thats one of the new technologies they gave it I guess. Doesn't...

A lot of motors have circuit breakers built into them--look for a push button on the end of the motor shell opposite the shaft end and push it in. If it clicks, then retry to start. If the button doesn't exist, or has no effect, try to turn the compressor by hand (power shut off). It should turn fairly easily. Most compressor motors use a capacitor to allow more power at start--if bad the motor will not run, but will hum loudly until the circuit breaker trips. Be sure to check the circuit breaker for the circuit that the machine is connected to. It's possible that the air pressure switch has failed causing no start. Hope some of this helps!

The thermostat clicks but the a/c won't turn on. I

You need to check the breaker for the A/C in the electrical panel, and have the fuses in the disconnect located near the A/C outdoor unit.

I have a coleman/evcon heat pump. When the thermostat kicks on the contacts kick in and hum but the compressor nor the fan run. Is this probably my capacitor has gone bad?

I would check the hig voltage power supply to the unit. Check the main breaker and make sure it is on. Check the disconnect and make sure there is power at that point to the condensing unit. The contactor will kick in from the low voltage in the control circuit.
