Make sure you take the colored covers off.

Put black in first then color. Release goes to left facing computer. Just reverse order to take out. Colored first, black last.

Every other line is blury.

This teeny printer allways needs cleaning!!

You must buy paper path cleaner and run it about 20 times. It sounds like you never cleaned that printer correctly or not at all. Also run the ink cleaner feature in the printers driver so the ink cartriges are cleaned too.

Canon MP 610 printer. Cartridges half full when forced to replace

well printers calculate ink, with printing jobs. If you exchange cartriges in the middle of these ( ex:you exchange cartriges about after 100 print jobs and the cartriges is 500 top) the printer dont know excatly the ink level, so gives these error on calculation, not exact ink level. so you need to take out and place again to reset cartridge counter.

The message you are getting may be due to the following reasons :

1) Cause : One or more ink cartridges missing.
Solution : Remove and reinsert the ink cartriges and verify that they are fully inserted and locked in place.

2) Cause : One or more of the ink cartriges are not installed or are installed incorrectly.
Solution : Remove and reinsert the ink cartriges and verify that they are fully inserted and locked in place. If the problem persists, clean the copper-colored contacts of the ink cartriges.

Variable ink darkness

If the printer has been used exrensively then its probably the printhead that needs replacing. The i70 printer uses a QY6-0046-000 Canon Printhead Printheads are available from many sites on-line and thru PC World
