What you need todo, enter your memory card into the camera, then go into the camera settings and turn the memory to use the internal memory, where the pictures are at, then use the preview button to see your images, open the menu while lookin at the pictures, you should get a option which says copy, use it to copy all the internal pictures into the memory card, then you can stick the memory card into your pc and copy the pictures there.

OR, remove the memory card and plug the camera into the pc, you should get a removeable storage device in you my computer. you can copy the pictures from there or print them directly.

You can just connect you rdigital camera to the computer via USB cable, and you will be able to see your camera as a "removable device" or "removable storage" under "My Computer" double click on it and you will be able to see the folders in your camera's internal memory.

the pictures are usually under DCIM folder, just open it and you are good to go.
you can just doubleclick on the picture and your computer will allow to you to print it, for XP, just let "picture manager" open it, and you will have a print option. on vista, same, just right click on the picture, the select open with picture manager and you will be able to print it too.

Some of the pictures are probably on your internal memory then, but I will need to know your specific camera model and make to give you better specifics. I assume that you have a cable to connect it to your computer and most likely a cd that has a program for the computer too? If not, I'm sure you can download the driver (what would have been on the cd), but again, I will need the make and model. The driver is usually on the manufacturer's website in case you lose the cd. You can also just take it to Walmart or another photo store and they can download it onto a cd for you and print whatever pictures you want. With it on a cd, you can open it on the computer without any extra program as computers usually have a program that can open it or one can be found for free usually online and then print it from there onto your printer.

Please update me with more information on the camera and any other specific questions that you may have so I can better help you

yes, thank you, now you should have gotten a cable to connect the camera to the computer and a installation cd. Do you have these and have you installed the cd onto the computer?

Assuming you are using WIndows XP or Vista, When you plug in your camera via USB, it should pick up as a camera in Windows and give you the option to open and view folder. Now you can select all the pictures you want to print (just hold down control and click the pictures one by one, or if you want all of them, hit Ctrl+A, or you can hold down shift and drag a selection box around a lot of them.), right click on them and select "print". It will bring up a photo printing wizard, just follow the directions from there.

If you have a card reader please use it and try to access the photos from the memory card.

this is not at all a big problem and hence don't worry for this.

you can get the photos surely.

first of all try using the memory card and see if the photos are present inside them.

    if yes then enjoy printing.

else use the memory card in a different camera and see f the photos are seen.

even then photos are not seen?? then it means that the photos were not even stored in your memory card.

check if your camera has internal memory. in that case internal memory is filled first and then external memory is used to store photos.

and internal memory photos can be got by connecting the camera to the system and accessing it as a external device.

in such case you will be shown two memories in my computer list.
one will be ur internal memory and other is external memory card.

i think i have told you all the possible options.

if you need further help please let me know.

    thank you

    have a great day

    thank you

Make sure you have no pictures on the internal memory of the camera. If you do, format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, download any pics you can save from the card to your computer. Then, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase and optimize the card for the camera.

I took pictures without the memory card - how do i transfer the pictures to the memory card so I can get them printed.

If you have a PC, why don't you just connect the camera to the PC and transfer the images to a DVD? Then you could either print them with your PC or take the DVD to Walmart, Sam's, or any other place with photo printers.

Select "Backup" from the Setup menu to copy pictures from the internal memory to a memory card. Then you can transfer them from the memory card to your computer as usual.

I took picture w/o SD card. Don't know how to transfer to SD

Search the menus for an entry for "copy". It should give you the option to copy the internal memory to a memory card. You could also take the camera and a usb connecting cord to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture maker machine. You can plug the camera into the usb slot and print the picture.

You don't. Without a memory card in the camera, there are no pictures to get out. It's really hard to be nice when they ask these kinds of questions.

Missing pictures

Hey flowernthe,
The error message “card cannot be read" means there was and error when the camera tried to access the memory card. To fix this you should make sure you are using the right kind of memory card, which for this kind of camera is a SD card, and it does not support SDHc cards. Since this camera uses SD cards I would make sure the slider on the side of the card is not set to the locked position. If this doesn't help I would make sure the memory card connecters are clean, and if they're not you can use a rubber eraser to clean them up. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

Go to the camera's "setup menu" and scroll down to the last option, "move images to card" That should put the images onto the memory card.
