Stop!

The back does not slide off.

Use the small tool in the box to depress a very small plunger on the top of the iPhone 3G, next to the earpiece socket.

A drawer will open to insert your Sim.

I need to replace the sim card

In almost every cellphone the Sim Card is located under the battery. Open the back of your phone where the battery is located and remove the battery. You should see the Sim Card that you want to replace. Most Sim Cards slide under a small holder. Gently slide the Sim Card out. Make sure that you are aware of how the old Sim Card is positioned so that you can simply slide the new Sim Card in exactly the same way as the old Sim Card came out. Replace the battery and close the back cover and you are finished.

Water damage

1. Remove the back cover of your phone. To do so, you will have to press down on the silver latch while sliding the cover off toward the top of the phone.
2. Remove the battery from inside of the phone. Be sure to place it somewhere where it will not be damaged. Locate a silver hatch; this is where the SIM card is stored.
3. To undo the silver hatch, slide it in the direction that says "Unlock." Then, flip it upwards so that only one end of it remains attached to the BlackBerry. Carefully remove the SIM card.
4. Replace the SIM card after a few seconds. It should fit back into its place in the exact same way you found it. Lock the silver hatch by laying it back down over the SIM card, and then sliding it the opposite way you had unlocked it before (to the side that says "Lock"). Put the battery back in as well (by fitting one end at a time). Replace the cover (make sure the silver button latches).
5. Turn the phone back on. The "SIM Card Error" message should be gone.

Can you please advise me on removing the back to fit my new sim card Regards

Hi,

To remove the battery and/or cover from the phone, follow the steps and diagrams below:

To remove the cover, lift up (1) press and slide the section of the phone upward.

Installing the SIM card, make sure the gold contacts of the SIM card are facing down before attempting the insertion. Slide the SIM card into the SIM card socket.

Note: The data stored on the SIM card can be damaged if the card is sctrached or bent during installation, so be very careful when installing the SIM card.

Slide the battery into the compartment so that the tabs on the end align with the slots at the bottom of the device and the metal contacts line up with the those on the device. Lightly press down on the battery until it slips into place

Lastly, Place the battery cover onto the back of the phone (the tabs at the top of the battery cover should interlock in the body chassis). Lower the battery cover down until it is flush with the phone.

Thanks.

How do I remove the Sim card from a Motorola Razr V3M cell phone?

Hi,

it is very easy to remove.just use your finger to open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery close to where the battery terminal is, and slide out the Sim card out.

But if you can not remove the Sim card with you finger, just get s screw on something you can use to pull the back cover and the battery out, then you can get access to your Sim card.

Good luck to you.

Instructions on how to insert sim card

hello. there is often a diagram which shows u how to insert the sim card. it will be a little diagram of a box shape with a **** on one side, as ur sim has a **** on one side too. try looking for it. the sim insertion can be under the battery, or more rrarely- thru the side of the phone. dont get confused with where the memory card fits, it is much smaller in size.

Replace a sim card

Replacing the Sim Card on a Motorola RAZR

  1. On the back of the phone you should see grooves for you to slide off like batteries on the back of a remote.
  2. Slide off the plastic cover.
  3. Remove the Battery.
  4. You should now see the Sim card.
  5. Slide the Sim Card out / Lift up the hatch and take it out.
  6. Slide the other one in / Insert the new one and close the hatch until you hear a slight noise of it clipping in.

How to remove the sim card from w200i?

Sim cards are pretty hardy and it's unlikely you will damage it. Most sims now fit into a slide slot which means you need to bend the card slightly by lifting up the edge to slide it out.

Hope this helps,

erch.

Phone doesn't recognize the SIM card

The sim card holder has a tiny slide mechanism. After inserting the sim card and pressing it against the body of the phone, place your finger over the card and slide it gently forward. The tiny plastic part that holds the card will snap it into place. Hard to explain, but it will work.
