E212 Error code

My first problem was that it was printing a strip of black on the bottom of the page. I turned the machine off. Then it gave me error code E212. So I turned it on again (like it said to) and it still said the same thing. Please help me!

This printer started printing all pages completely Black when sending multiple pages through the automatic document feeder(ADF). Huge waste of toner! No error codes. Individual pages print correctly w

First step is to update the firmware to current revision to see if that resolves the problem. Go to HP.com and search for fimware update for your printer. If sounds like the scanner head is not moving to the correct location when scanning and is just reading black strip on the bottom of the scanner bed. Have seen this issue with other models.

Error code 5100 on mx700 printer

There is a thin (1/4"wide) plastic strip running across the width in front of and below the drive belt. This part is related to the optical encoder which tells the print head where it is. Look closely, there are fine black vertical lines on this strip. If the strip gets a piece of crud on it, you get an error during the start up sequence. Softly clean this strip with a damp lint free tissue. This also fixed a gap in the printing running lengthwise (not across the page like a clogged head).

I get Error Code 0502. I've reset the little

Hi there
Ok try this and see if it will do it
On the multi function machine seems to be a coating on the metal rod that the cartridges travel on. Just wipe this rod with a Kleenex and the problem seems to go away.
Somehow it presents a drag on the cartridges and causes an error.
Myself I would put a little bit of oil after on a cloth and wipe along the bar.

Please all I ask is call back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one, so I will keep on helping.

Canon PIXMA MP130 printing blank pages & cartridge jammed message

Hi You can Try

Error Code 5100 Yes see lots of this errors
Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.

Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .

Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.
