Heating element is no good. Get a price to repair, if it's pretty old, time for a new one, or in you're handy, see how much a new element is and do it yourself.

Dryer spins but won't get hot. Bad heating element? If so , where is it located?

Check your circuit breaker. It may not be your dryer at all. 220 dryers run on two separate circuits one to run the motor the other to run heating element.

Dryer timer won't shut off at end of cycle. Dryer runs, but no heat. It is a Whirlpool model number LGR4634JQ2.

Since you say that the dryer runs but have no heat, plus the timer won't shut off the odds are the timer is bad. The timer would tell the burner when to be on and when to shut down.
