Hi, I hadn't used my 9.25"

  • Anonymous May 11, 2011

Thanks again. That didn't work :(

I need to find a place to send it for repair. No luck yet. I am in the NYC area. Or maybe I should send for a new power board from Celeston?

There is is "pin" inside the power connector on the scope -- using a sharp knife-- try spreading the pin apart-- then try the power pack again.

Thanks! I will try that this weekend !!

  • Joe Lalumia aka TelescopeMan

It's a known issue with some of these scopes-- just need to tighten up the contact--

If this does not work then something is blown inside the scope.

Hey, thanks again. This didn't work. Now I am looking for a repair shop but haven't had any luck yet. I'm in the NYC area.

Or maybe I should order a new power board from Celestron and try to do-it-myself?

  • Joe Lalumia aka TelescopeMan

No you tried them all-- Celestron will repair the electronics but you need to ship it to them. Here is their contact phone number:

Laptop shutting down.

On battery or AC power? Have you cleaned the fan, vents, heatsink? Use a can of compressed Air to remove dust build up. If the Laptop overheats it will shut down to save the components from damage. You may want to try another Cord/charger with the EXACT same power specs. Have you set Sleep and Hibernate, in Advanced Power settings, to Never?

Tried to use the spin cycle. Made the usual motor sound but then heard a "sqeaking" sound and found that the tub hadn't been spinning

I would guess that your transmission is bad. Does the tub turn on any setting?

Unfortunately, that is an expensive repair and not the easiest DIY job. Do a search (using your machine nomenclature) to find out what is entailed in this job.

Hi,

Are you using a modded PSP? If so, try the following.

The steps below fixed this issue that a user like yourself was having on his PSP.

Enable EBOOT.BIN in recovery mode. This is how you do it:
  1. Go to the recovery menu by turning your PSP off and powering it back up while holding the R-trigger
  2. Go to Advanced -> Advanced Configuration
  3. Set the value for Excute BOOT.BIN in UMD / ISO to Enabled
  4. Exit recovery mode and start the game

I had Dell Windows XP along time ago. I now have Windows Vista Business and I think it is Service pack 1. I pressed F12 and did diagnosis then it scanned right off the bat it says... "Error Code...

Hi. Error 0146 is pertaining to a failing hard drive. You can still try to reinstall Windows Vista by requesting for a CD from Dell by contacting them.

If they fail to send you a CD or if the error still comes up after reinstalling Vista, then you need to replace your hard drive.

It leaks. It's all over the inside of machine. We don't use this printer a lot because we do design on-line; so it's not from overuse or worn out parts. It just leaks and then causes the printer to stop...

I have had problems with a number of brand new genuine HP toner cartridges leaking on this printer. Strangely, I have had almost no problems with non-OEM cartridges from Cartridge World.

I can’t explain this...and wouldn’t have believed this if I hadn’t experienced it myself.

Try removing all toner cartridges, and carefully cleaning out the printer with canned air. Then replace the leaky toner cartridges with Cartridge World cartridges. This has been my recipe for success with the HP Laserjet 4600.
