There is frost buildup on back wall of frezer fridge or frezer dont get cold enough

my fan blade had slipped down and was rubbing makeing a noise and fine particles of white dust was at the rub point. Pushed the fan back up drop of super glue and lubricated the motor. works great!

Our frezzer is working fine but the fridge isnt

the return air ducts are frozen, not allowing cool air up to the fridge
unplug unit overnight and let defrost,you can speed up the defrost time by using a blowdryer in the freezer compartment

The fridge is not working and the frezer has a low temperature

be carefull when you remove the panel inside the frezer it may be you have a build up of ice and the panel could get frozen to the ice, best idea is to turn off the fridge/frezer for 24hrs to let it thaw

Quick temporary fix - defrost the freezer (inside frezer lower back) it is probably full of frost/ice - this prevents air flow and therefore no air enters fridge side. common failure due to bimetal defrost thermostat failure ($20) - replace part for permanent fix

Compressor not working warm fan inside frezer run

Heat exchanger was iced over, took a hair dryer and melted ice. I think defrost heater element is bad will check it this week end. I put a new computer in the frige about 3 mounths ago and will check if it has gone bad. The compressor is working fine.
