Just put in a new moen kitchen faucet, why does it have hardly any water pressue?

You might have a clogged aerator screen. Remove the aerator from the faucet and see if the flow is normal. You can rinse the aerator off if it's clogged. It's also possible the stops (shutoff valves) aren't open all the way. Sometimes, if they're old, they don't turn on fully again after you shut them off to put in the new faucet. If you still have low pressure after removing the aerator, you may need to replace the valves.

I don't know if the instructions mentioned it, but it's good practice to remove the aerator and run a faucet to flush the water line after installing it. There's usually a lot of debris that comes through at first. That's usually why you'll have low pressure in a new faucet.

I have a 7560c moen faucet that is loose at base of sink. how do I tighten it Thank You

The faucet is secured by a nut from underneath, and it's hard to reach because of the sink basin. You need a special tool called a basin wrench to get up to the nut and tighten it. This picture shows one in use:

The faucet you have has only one threaded piece and nut, but it's the same principle. You can find basin wrenches at the big-box home improvement places and most hardware stores, or you may be able to borrow one from someone who does plumbing repairs. They aren't expensive if you decide to buy one.

Moen 7700 kitchen faucet leaks at base of spout

The cylinder which surrounds the bottom of the spout is part of the spout. The cylinder is sealed with o-rings at top and bottom. They probably need replaced. Feel free to use lubricant.

You will need to replace the cartridge....

here is tutorial on how to do that...

http://www.ehow.com/how_7241891_do-repair-moen-7600_.html

If you find that the cartridge will not come out you may have to purchase a Moen cartridge removal tool... you can get them at Lowe's or many othere plumbing supply houses....

I have a moen 7637 single handle kitchen faucet that leaks around the stem. How do I take the lever off.

1) Use a small sharp-pointed knife and pop out the little plastic Moen logo at the bottom of the front side of the handle (and don't lose it!)
2) Lift the lever up a bit (the water may turn on) until you can see a small screw with an allen wrench socket.
3) Unscrew the allen-head screw; the handle will lift straight up.

Look down into the faucet; there's a philllips head screw. The leaking may simply be caused by this screw being loose.

We have semi-successfully replaced our Moen cartridge for model 100940. We have no more leaks, the only problem is that the water will not stay on. When we lift the handle up, it immediately starts to...

I know this is an old question, but I just had this issue when replacing the cartridge in my 100940 J1 Moen faucet. I had to tighten the Phillips-head screw down a little more that holds the plastic piece on to the cartridge stem. Hope that's the fix you needed.

We live in a house built in early 60's. Re; Plumbing to kitchen sink and dishwasher. On vary rare occasion the sink faucet will have decent water pressure. We have changed the water faucet with a Moen. As...

if this is the only place in the home where water pressure is a problem then the lines may very well be the issue. if you have low pressure throughout the home then there may be a problem with the main water supply in the home. if the lines are galvanized pipe then they may be restricted due to rust or other deposits forming on the inside of the pipe. unless you are good at plumbing then i would suggest having a professional come out and assess the condition of the lines.
