Ushally you will have to set up your connection being connected to the router via the lan cable once you do that you can configure your laptop to be allowed to run on the wireless setting.
so if you have another computer hooked upto it you can set the permissions on that you have to create a new network for the laptop.
if you have the manual you can find the configuration settings for your router, most you just open up Internet explorer and then type in home to access this menu.
but for your unit im not 100% sure of the configure setup for it.
